Up to a hundred players will be able to join up and battle it out as part of two or five armies in skirmishes and castle sieges with the goal of breaking into the opponents’ stronghold and destroying its core.
Playing either as a warrior, cleric, or mage with their own unique set of skills, players will have the option to build up decks of finely customized characters for the battles ahead. This includes skill and ability customization as well as visual ones to help characters stand out in the heat of battle. There will be two game modes available at launch. First, a two-team mode with up to 40 players and a five-team mode with up to 100 players.
With access to offensive and defensive siege weaponry, rare cataclysmic idols, or clever warfare tactics, each army has a chance to reign victorious, no matter how certain a castle siege may seem.
In Warlander, there’s always a fighting chance to turn the tide of battle.
Players are now invited to join the open beta of Warlander via the game's Steam page. Bringing chaos and destruction as either a Warrior, Mage, or Cleric, players will be able to test their skills against each other on the battlefield and create their own unique squad of character rosters.
Players are also invited to help the game’s development by giving feedback and turning it into the best version it can be. To join the discussion and connect with the Warlander community, players can do so via the game’s Official Discord server.
Warlander will launch on PC first and will be released on consoles following the launch.
