To survive in this desolate world, players must explore locations and collect essential supplies while avoiding the Infested, dangerous creatures that roam the land, slaughtering all in their path. Gameplay is focused on exploring the darkness, avoiding enemies’ detection, and triggering battles at the right moment using a range of historical weapons.

The Early Access release features 7 maps, 3 playable characters, 14+ types of various historical weapons, three difficulty levels – Vengeance, Suffering and Despair – that can be enjoyed from beginners to veterans, as well as a new mode called “Recurring Nightmare”.

Recurring Nightmare is the most challenging mode, combining tactical combat and role-playing game elements with a wide variety of weapon choices.

In addition, the early access version includes balance tweaks to combat damages and adds a new separate stat called "Armor” based on player feedback through last Steam Next Fest version demo.

Developed by Black Anchor and publisher Webzen,announced Remore: Infested Kingdom is now in Early Access for PC via Steam or Epic Games Store for $14.99 and will   last six months to one year.

The Early Access release allows players to experience an in-depth tactics RPG along with a tutorial, 7 stages, 14 types, a total of 33 different primary/secondary weapons, 3 playable characters, and 2 types of special trees.

In addition to 3 difficulty levels - Vengeance, Suffering and Despair - the game includes the “Recurring Nightmare” challenge mode in the Early Access version.

Players will also learn about the stories of the people of REMORE and the threats that they are facing in a medieval apocalyptic infestation. There are significant improvements coming with Remore: Infested Kingdom's Early Access, as demo players from last Steam Next Fest were keen to emphasize combat damages. All player characters now have a separate stat called "Armor" in addition to "Health”. The Armor stat will be deducted ahead of Health when taking damage, and fully restored at the end of a battle.

The official Remore: Infested Kingdom release version will include a total of 3 chapters, and their REMORE survival story, which spans about 14 stages, will come to an end. In addition, new weapon items, additional weapon characteristics, higher-level character perks, a new way of character growth system and a new composition of battles will be added so that players could experience wonderful contents that were not shown in the early access version.

  • Explore desolate locations once thriving with life, now deserted cause by the infestation. Get supplies you need in order to survive.
  • Beware the enemies lurking in the darkness, hidden in corners or behind unopened doors. There is always the risk of encountering your death.
  • The enemies do not stand still. They will spot the movement of survivors, then chase and grab them even when it is not their turn.
• A Turn-based Combat focused on controlling the Battlefield.
  
  • 14+ types of various historical weapons are usable, each with their own unique skills.
  • Control the battlefield by pushing & pulling enemies or using various tools.
  • Use enemies’ sight and noise to trigger the battle on your terms. Throw a stone to attract attention or set up a tall barricade to prevent them from spotting us.
• Rest in the Hideout
  
  • Cook the Foods you’ve collected. A fair amount of food will heal the damage and grant a decent bonus in the next battle.
  • The Blacksmith will be the most important NPC in the camp. He can craft, repair, reinforce and upgrade your weapons which is the key to progression, along with making many essential tools.
  • The resources will get more and more scarce, so you will need more supplies than you can get in the battle. Send a Scavenger NPC out into the world to find key items.

Remore: Infested Kingdom is coming to PC (Steam or Epic Games Store) in 2024.
