Welcome back to sun-kissed, zombified Arizona, where you can take on the form of our dark-humored protagonist once more to set out on the next chapter of a VR journey. Players will experience the thrill of next-gen VR gunplay, introducing full manual reloading and new ranged weapons like scorching flamethrowers to expand on an already fan-favorite arsenal. An all-new melee system introduces weapons like machetes, crowbars and pickaxes to bring the apocalypse up-close and personal as you experience realistic takedowns through advanced gore and mutilation. As players scavenge and craft their ultimate loadout, the various ways to dispatch the Freds are plentiful as even severed limbs can be wielded to whack a Fred.

Arizona Sunshine II is a direct sequel to the original that sets you on an all-new limb-strewn adventure in search of answers. And what's better than braving the end of the f*cking world? Surviving it with your new best friend—Buddy. Not only is Buddy your four-legged companion through thick and thin, he’s also the goodest boy and will help take down those pesky Freds for you. In this (surprisingly light-hearted) story of a profoundly lonely man desperate to find another living person in post-apocalyptic Arizona, our hero and Buddy embark on a quest for a new sense of purpose, seeking the joy that the wasteland around them cannot provide.

Arizona Sunshine II takes full advantage of the latest VR technology, forging a new frontier in blood-pumping, zombie-blasting action.

Vertigo Games announced a Gameplay Showcase for Arizona Sunshine 2.

Fans can tune in on November 17th at 5PM CET / 8AM PT (Youtube or Steam) to get an in-depth look at fresh campaign gameplay with developer commentary, all-new game details including co-op announcements, special guest appearances, never-before-seen co-op gameplay from highlighted creators, and more.

During the Gameplay Showcase, players can directly engage with the developers during an AMA session on Reddit: r/PSVR (click) and r/OculusQuest (click). Threads are now open for questions, which will be answered by studio representatives on Friday.
