This new chapter in the world of Ghostbusters will see players step into the boilersuits of a new cast of characters at the start of their journey running their own ghost-busting headquarters out of San Francisco.

Track, blast, and trap ghosts in gripping encounters by wielding iconic equipment. Go it alone, or as a team with up to three friends in co-op, in an extensive and engrossing campaign. Continue the Ghostbusters’ legacy, protect the city from fiendish ghosts, and experience all the humor and frights from the beloved franchise.

Legendary locations in the city such as the Golden Gate Bridge will be brought to life across an extensive and engrossing campaign where players can go solo or team with up to three friends in co-op to stop the powerful Ghost Lord and his band of malevolent ghosts from causing chaos throughout the city. With the ability to wield and upgrade iconic Ghostbusters equipment and customize elements of their characters’ look, Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord lets players truly live the life of a Ghostbuster with all of the fun and frights that come with it.

Sony Pictures Virtual Reality (SPVR) and developer, nDreams debuted a story trailer for Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord with new details on the larger-than-life supervillain Ghost Lord. Witness the descent of Gustav Hookfaber, the dismissed understudy to the 1984 Ghostbusters at Columbia University, and catch a glimpse of the new Ghostbusters HQ in San Francisco, where players will gear up to bust ghosts across an extensive and engrossing campaign.

While we can’t share much about how Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord will play on Meta Quest 3 right now, the game will take full advantage of all the features and power that Meta Quest 3 has to offer.
