After a gang tied to illegal racing and smuggling leads to the garage owner missing, it’s up to you and your colleague Deb to restore the garage and solve the mystery. Unlock new tools and workstations as the story progresses and you upgrade your garage. With the new tools at your disposal, you can purchase rundown cars and parts from the junkyard and go to work to restore them to their former glory.

The realism offered by Underground Garage’s extensive customisation options extend to the game’s damage simulation, delivering realistic engine and body damage from impacts that make it the most realistic car mechanic simulator out there. Underground Garage isn’t just about fixing cars, however; it’s about perfecting them. Tweak your car's performance after every test drive to make your dream ride, then choose from a vast palette of colour options,  stickers and decals to decorate your car with your own style.

Underground Garage offers an open world city where you will complete quests and drive to key locations to follow the game’s story, as well as serving as a playground where you can take on speed attacks and time attacks. During the game’s time in Early Access,  there are plans to add full fledged races, as well as multiplayer so you can enjoy the game with your friends! Originally planned for October 24th, BeardedBrothers.Games are delaying the Steam Early Access release of Underground Garage until November 7th.

The team decided it was necessary to pump the brakes for their Need For Speed meets Car Mechanic Simulator blend of car customisation and racing to spend more time under the hood before the release. While Underground Garage will of course enjoy improvements during its Early Access period, BearderBros nonetheless want to ensure that the game starts off on the right foot and the team is primed to respond to community feedback on release, hence the need for the delay.

“The Early Access version of Underground Garage is fully playable and includes a wide range of core features. Players can immerse themselves in the advanced car mechanic simulation and experience realistic driving mechanics, where vehicle performance is influenced by customized parts. The open world currently consists of one city, offering both story-driven missions and procedurally generated challenges. These missions allow players to unlock new garages and upgrade their workspace. At this stage, six cars and six engines are available for players to work with, offering a solid foundation for customization. Although the game is feature-complete in terms of its core gameplay, the development team continues to refine and expand the game based on player feedback, with more content and features planned as development progresses​”
