Welcome to The Bornless, an action horror FPS where you face off against other players, summon demons, and build factions in a Lovecraftian world.

Welcome, stranger!

You've arrived at Farmouth Island, a foreboding stretch of wilderness off the Massachusetts coast. Here lies the heart of The Bornless, an action horror FPS where the veil between reality and the abyss is perilously thin. Face off against other players, play as demons, and wield Black Magick in a battle for survival and supremacy.

Engage directly in the chaos of The Bornless with a unique blend of PvP and PvE elements. Whether flying solo or teaming up with friends, face off against other players and demonic forces alike. Decipher ancient totems, survive deadly rituals, and wield everything from powerful spells to fierce weaponry to conquer human and supernatural adversaries.

Thrive in the relentless environment of Farmouth Island, where each victory helps you progress further. Progress your character with stronger weapons and abilities throughout each match, strategically vital for survival and dominance in this brutal landscape. Each successful extraction escalates your power and secures you invaluable resources and collectibles from our rarity-based loot system.

Developer Cathedral Studios has just released a jaw-dropping new gameplay trailer showcasing alpha gameplay footage and reveals a completely redesigned map that pulls players deeper into the eerie atmospheric world of The Bornless.

After months of development, the Cathedral Studios team has overhauled the map, refined core mechanics, and made critical performance improvements based on community feedback. The result is a highly immersive, high-stakes experience where horror meets tactical survival.

“We are incredibly proud of the progress we've made,” said Toby Saunders, CEO of Cathedral Studios. “The new map redesign and performance improvements are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our development team. This trailer represents a major milestone for us, and we’re eager for players to dive into this new version of the game.”

The trailer gives players their first real look at Farmouth Island, a once peaceful place now warped by dark rituals and ruled by horrifying creatures. The narrative is voiced by one of our protagonists: Harry, his voice dripping with bitterness and regret, sets the tone as he reflects on the island’s allure and the hopelessness of survival.

“This island pulls you in… and once it has you, there’s no escape. The treasure, the ritual, and the power it offers you. I wish I could resist… but once you get a taste, there’s no going back.”

Alongside the chilling narration, the trailer teases intense PvP and PvE encounters, showcasing both terrifying monsters and the strangers lurking in the darkness. With highly atmospheric visuals, tactical combat, and the looming promise of power through the Bornless Ritual, this trailer paints a grim picture of survival.

To celebrate the trailer launch and upcoming developments, The Bornless will be hosting an exclusive playtest over Halloween weekend (October 26-27). Players can sign up for a chance to join the playtest by visiting The Bornless Steam page, signing up on the official website, or joining the community on Discord. This playtest will give players their first hands-on experience with the new map and features, and it will also be live streamed across platforms, with special in-game events and surprises happening throughout the weekend.

“We’ve been listening closely to our community,” said Jake Tomlinson, Head of Community at The Bornless. “Their insights have been invaluable. This trailer is just the beginning of what we have in store, and we can’t wait for players to experience it.”
