In Green Hell the player is dropped into the impenetrable, emerald depths of the Amazon rain forest; the Green Hell. Having no memory of how you got there, your goal is simple: survive. Stuck in a beautifully nightmarish environment, it will take fortitude of mind and the most primitive of means to escape.

With only a radio at your disposal the player will follow a familiar voice through a seemingly endless and ruthlessly inhospitable jungle. Bit by bit, you will unveil more of the mystery of how you came to be in this hostile situation, and what you discover just might be worse than what you fought so hard against to survive.

Clinging to life, the player is set on a journey of durability as the effects of solitude wear heavy not only on the body but also the mind. How long can you survive against the dangers of the unknown?

Incuvo is pleased to announce the release date for Green Hell VR’s co-op gameplay on Meta Quest and PS VR2 systems, December 16, 2024.

Players on Meta Quest and PSVR2 who already own the single-player edition of Green Hell VR will receive the co-op update free of charge when it goes live.

“Bringing co-op to Meta Quest and PSVR2 is extremely important to our VR community, and we know they have been waiting for this feature since we first launched the game on those platforms. Still, we had to ensure it lived up to their expectations for an immersive, co-op survival experience.“ said Incuvo CEO Andrzej Wychowaniec. “We are confident that co-op gamers will enjoy Green Hell VR as much, if not more, than the single-player experience. We look forward to hearing their feedback.” 

The co-op edition of Green Hell VR builds on the game’s challenging solo play by allowing teams of up to four survivors aid each other to improve their survival odds. 

Teammates will arm themselves with melee or ranged weapons to hunt food or protect each other from the jungle’s deadly predators. Players who need healing will visually appear to need help, even spotting leeches that need to be plucked off each other. Building shelters is still challenging, but having friends with you to gather supplies and help create structures makes things slightly more manageable.
