As employees of FICSIT Inc. enterprising space Pioneers are tasked with charting and exploiting a vast and diverse alien planet to construct and automate intricate multi-story factories for a mysterious unknown purpose. Players must also defend themselves against hostile alien lifeforms, automate vehicles and research new technologies to keep improving their constructs.

Satisfactory lands today with three different biomes on a vast handcrafted world (30km2) full of varyingly hostile alien creatures and six tiers of milestones that unlock machines, resources and equipment. The Early Access launch also offers multiplayer and vehicles with automation capabilities. The live development roadmap already outlines two new updates scheduled for the end of April and May that will bring new milestone tiers, research chains for sulfur and quarts, and a train to transfer your resources between outposts.

Coffee Stain Studios revealed the 1.0 launch date of Satisfactory, which will be leaving early access on the 10th September 2024, leaping into a new phase of conveyor belt goodness in version 1.0.

In the thrilling new trailer, which showcases the Pioneer in a bathroom-related nightmare sprinting by the mighty machines of Satisfactory, both the 1.0 release date and the announcement of a much sought after addition to the game were revealed. Players can look forward to plenty of new features coming in 1.0 however this feature has been long yearned for by the breadth of the community. Now premium plumbing is a reality, the HUB’s once trivial toilet has been updated with an advanced flushing mechanism, providing an extra luxurious worker experience for fans.

Since entering early access in March 2019, Satisfactory has received eight major updates, and hundreds of smaller updates, introducing a plethora of new features and ways to play. With its close-knit community of supporters, each update has been a collaborative effort with player feedback influencing many decisions along the way. Having sold more than 5.5 million copies, Satisfactory’s journey has been an exciting experience for both developers and fans alike, and 1.0 looks to deliver a heartwarming conclusion to the early access page of this story.

Currently available in Early Access through the Epic Games Store and Steam Early Access for $29.95/€29.99, Satisfactory is scheduled for full release on September 10, 2024.
