The Movement
Omnimovement
Global innovation (SP, MP, RBZ, WZ)
A genre-defining game changer across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Call of Duty: Warzone, Omnimovement immediately allows the player to move like never before and seamlessly chain combat maneuvers together, like sliding, diving and a newly enhanced supine prone, all with a full 360 degrees range of motion.
This might sound intimidating to try, but Omnimovement is designed for players of all different skill levels, and you’re able (and encouraged) to learn how to really take advantage of these maneuvering innovations prior to your first Beta match:
In the Multiplayer Beta, you can access the Training Course by selecting “Find a Match” in the Lobby. You’re dropped into the MP Map Protocol (which is otherwise a launch map), where Frank Woods is on hand to offer you some “encouragement.” It’s here you can fully learn your Omnimovement capabilities, as well as optionally testing out the Intelligent Movement system (see below).
Omnimovement Basics: At its most basic level, Omnimovement allows you to Sprint, Slide, and Dive in any direction. Be sure you perfect the following:
- Sprinting forward, sideways, or backwards.
- Shooting targets while sliding or diving forward, sideways, or backwards.
The 180 Degree Combat Dive: Combine Omni-Sprint and 180-degree dives like a true Black Ops action hero with a technique designed to show off Omnimovement and act as a springboard for your own maneuvering combinations. You can:
Combat Supine: Master the supine position to effectively counter ambushes and enhance your combat skills.
- Sprint towards the edge of a building, then dive from the edge.
- As you’re diving in mid-air, you quickly rotate yourself to face an enemy situated behind you.
- As you finish your dive, you should be firing to eliminate the enemy.
- Drop to a prone position, then rotate your Operator for a complete 360-degree view of your surroundings.
- Locate the positions of nearby enemies.
- Then fire to eliminate the enemy quickly as they appear, all the while staying in the supine position.
Combat Slide and Dive: Use the element of surprise against enemies by combining Omni-Sprint with Combat Slides and Dives.
- Quickly sprint towards a door (closed or open) or another threshold.
- Evade enemy gunfire by Diving or Sliding through the opening.
- Then quickly aim and fire to eliminate enemies positioned to the left or right of your ending position.
Intelligent Movement
Global innovation (SP, MP, RBZ, WZ)
In addition to Omnimovement, Black Ops 6 also features Intelligent Movement, which is a brand-new way for players to customize three elements of how Operators traverse the landscape. Available in the Keyboard & Mouse or Controller Options under “Movement,” you’re able to adjust the following features:
- Sprint Assist: Choose whether you want to manually or automatically sprint, tactically sprint, how much of a delay you want before sprinting begins, and if the assist occurs while sprinting sideways or backwards (due to Omnimovement).
- Mantle Assist: Customize whether you want you automatically mantle over no objects, low obstacles, or all obstacles that can be mantled.
- Crouch Assist: This enables crouching and sliding when your intent is to move through a valid opening (i.e., one requiring you to crouch).
- Corner Slice: Allows you to simulate a corner slice, the act of inclining your weapon (and camera) when adjacent to or moving around a corner. This doesn’t affect your aim. Default is “on.”
Sprint Assist: You can choose how this behaves. This can be switched off (default), turned on, or just related to Tactical Sprint Assist.
- Off: Sprint is activated manually with the Sprint button.
- On: Full movement input will activate Sprint after the Sprint Assist Delay time.
- Tactical Sprint Assist: Forward movement input will activate Tactical Sprint after the Sprint Assist Delay time. Sideways and Backward movement can also be separated to activate Sprint after the Sprint Assist Delay time.
- Sprint Assist Delay: This is the amount of time (in milliseconds) of movement input before Sprint Assist activates. You can choose from zero (default) to 1,000 milliseconds (or one second) delay in 50 millisecond increments.
- Sprint Assist Sideways and Backwards: Default is “on” and allows Sprint Assist to activate when moving in the specified directions.
Mantle Assist: You can choose how this behaves. This can be switched off (default), set to Low Mantle Assist, or turned on.
- Off: Mantling (the movement over traversable objects) is activated contextually with the Jump button.
- Low Mantle Assist: Mantle Assist activates when sprinting towards low obstacles.
- On: Mantle Assist activates when sprinting towards all obstacles that can be mantled.
- Sideways and Backwards: Mantle Assist can also be activated when sprinting sideways or backwards towards low obstacles. Default is “off” for both, though they can be set to “on” for either or both movement options.
- Tactical Sprint Only: You can set Mantle Assist to activate only while Tactical Sprinting. Default is “off.”
- Mantle Cancels Reload: Mantle Assist activates while reloading, canceling the reload. Default is “on.”
Crouch Assist: You can enable or disable this function:
- Off: This is the default setting and allows you to Crouch or Slide manually with the Change Stance button.
- On: Crouch Assist activates when Walking or Sprinting forward towards a valid opening.
- Tactical Sprint Only: Crouch Assist only activates when Tactical Sprinting towards a valid opening. Default is “off.”
A More Approachable Gunsmith
Global innovation (MP, RBZ, WZ)
With a more streamlined navigational experience, choosing a Loadout has never been quicker and easier. This includes a reworking of the Weapon Gunsmith to make it much more approachable, allowing you to choose from the vast array of unlockable weapon attachments with a renewed set of confidence that the build you’re making is suited to your exact style of play.
And thanks to the Black Ops 6 Global Weapon Builds (read on for more intel), your weapon creations can be shared across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Call of Duty: Warzone!
It all starts in the Weapons Menu, and it’s here you’ll choose your Loadouts. While Black Ops 6is set to bring an exceptional arsenal of weaponry and equipment to the game – including 12 weapons all-new to the franchise – the following information details the streamlining and innovations made to the Gunsmith, beginning with Attachments.
Gunsmith: Attachments
Global System (MP, RBZ, WZ)
Looking back at how approachable the weapons systems of Black Ops 2 was, served as a huge inspiration for the Weapons Team, and though there are no plans to return to that system, the focus for Black Ops 6 is to condense and streamline Attachments so a player always feels positive and understands the bonuses when it comes to utilizing the Gunsmith. Here are some of the changes:
- Gaining the Advantage: Attachments almost always come with a benefit (Pro), and not a detriment (Con), so you know you’re creating a weapon more potent than the base version.
- Optics for All... : Almost all Optic Attachments are shared across all weapons in a Weapons Class. For example, unlock the Red Dot Sight with a SMG and you’ll be able to equip it to all SMGs in the Weapon Class.
- ...Everything Else is Unique: All other Attachment Types – Muzzle, Barrel, Underbarrel, Magazine, Rear Grip, Stock, Laser, and Fire Mods – are unique to the weapon in question.
- Getting Specific: Instead of having a weapon function – such as ADS speed – being affected by multiple attachments that are difficult to keep track of, they are related to a single Attachment type.
- For example, equipping a “Rear Grip” Attachment will always improve your handling, and the grip you choose will boost a unique combination of handling stats (to Sprint to Fire Speed, Slide to Fire Speed, Dive to Fire Speed, ADS Speed, or a combination thereof). All the different grips are designed to improve the weapon’s potency, not reduce it.
- Information is Power: The net result of this new system – which we’ve just scratched the surface of – is that it allows players to make informed weapon-building decisions easily and create effective Builds without constantly needing looking up “meta” builds online.
- Details Matter: Don’t mistake this streamlining as “dumbing down” the Gunsmith, as your Firepower, Accuracy, Handling, and Mobility statistics can also be seen in an expanded view, with individual elements like Reload Quickness, Recoil Gun Kick, and Bullet Velocity all available to compare in granular detail. There are over 30 stats you can view and improve in the expanded view. Note this view will not be accessible during the Black Ops 6 Beta.
Gunsmith: Weapon Leveling
Global System (MP, RBZ, WZ)
Every Black Ops 6 weapon has its own Weapon Leveling journey to progress through and complete. Most Primary Weapons have between 40-50 Weapon Levels, with each level providing access to a different Attachment unique to the Weapon or a Class Optic that can be used with any Weapon in the Class. While we’re talking Optics, players will no longer need to unlock each Weapon’s Optic “Node” as part of the Weapon Leveling journey. Instead, players will have access to the Optic Attachment Category from Weapon Level 1 and can immediately equip any of their favorite previously unlocked Class Optics when starting out with a new Weapon.
Gunsmith: Global Weapon Builds
Global Innovation (MP, RBZ, WZ)
Perfecting your favorite weapon loadout builds or Blueprints doesn’t need to be done more than once, as Black Ops 6 brings the concept of Global Weapon Builds into a reality across all three modes (Black Ops 6, Zombies, and Call of Duty: Warzone). This Loadout and Gunsmith usability improvement is a huge time-saver, as it allows you to make a change to any Build or blueprint in any game, and it permeates out everywhere the gun is equipped. Look for more information on this exciting feature soon!
Gunsmith: Cosmetics
Global System (MP, RBZ, WZ)
Across Black Ops 6, Zombies, and Call of Duty: Warzone, the Cosmetics for your weapons feature a wide variety of content to unlock, which is further subdivided into the following categories:
- Camo: The place to begin an epic grind to unlock Weapon Camos, including Mastery Camos for Multiplayer, Zombies, and for the first time, a dedicated Camo Challenge system for Call of Duty: Warzone!
- Reticle: Expect robust customization and unlock challenges for optic reticles, across all three modes!
- Weapon Accessories: Affix a small charm from your collection or a Gun Screen onto the side of your weapon.
- Large Decals: Add some customization to your weapon by adding a Large Decal to the side of the armament.
- Stickers: Further add custom flourishes by placing up to three stickers in designated areas across your weapon. In Black Ops 6, players can equip both three Stickers and a Large Decal simultaneously with no limitations.
It’s worth spending some time looking at the Reticle and Weapon Camo challenges Black Ops 6 will have to offer:
Weapon Camos and Mastery Camos
Global System (MP, RBZ, WZ)
Mastery Camos are coming to Black Ops 6! This includes Gold and Dark Spine (Column 1, MP), Gold Tiger and King’s Ransom (Column 2, WZ), and Mystic Gold and Afterlife (Column 3, RBZ).
Weapon Camos are cosmetic patterns that cover a large portion of every weapon and are unlocked via specific “Camo Challenges”. For Black Ops 6, expect a serious undertaking, set to test the mettle of even the most battle-hardened grinder! The variety of camos to unlock at launch is impressive, includes a dedicated camo track for Call of Duty: Warzone for the first time.
Veterans of Black Ops should be happy to learn that the way many of the camos are unlocked takes inspiration from previous titles.
All three modes have a full set of Camo Challenges, for each weapon in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer, Zombies, and Call of Duty: Warzone. Each Weapon’s Camo journey is broken up into three categories – featuring a mix of elements from traditional Black Ops Camo Systems of past as well as modern Camo Challenge elements seen in recent titles:
A showcase of the Dynamic properties of the Dark Matter (Column 1, MP), Nebula (Column 2, RBZ) and Abyss (Column 3, WZ) Mastery Camos.
Step 1: Military Camos: Progress through nine linear Military Camo styles, usually by reaching Headshot milestones with the weapon. Launchers, Knives, and Shotguns have different criteria.
Step 2: Unique Camos: After completing the Weapon’s nine Military Camos, players will gain access to two Challenges to earn Unique Camos. Each Weapon has two Unique Camos, per mode (six total). Unique Camos can be completed in either order, and once completed Unique Camo swatches can be used with any other Weapon that has also completed its nine Military Camos.
Step 3: Mastery Camos: Once through the Military and Unique Camos, advance into the weapon’s four Mastery Camos. See below for a full reveal of these Mastery camos!
Expect this exact same trackable setup in Zombies and Call of Duty: Warzone, effectively meaning three sets of unlockable camos depending on the game you’re playing. Black Ops 6 also has a “Camo HUB” menu to help you keep track of all your weapon camo unlocks, where you can check each weapon class (for example, SMGs or Handguns), and how your grind is going on a per-camo challenge, per-weapon basis!
Let’s delve into the three different camo types:
Military Camos
Nine Camos Per Weapon, per game (27 per weapon)
These camo types are consistent across every gun in the game, and progression is extremely straightforward. For the majority of Primary Weapons, you unlock Military camos in order by completing Headshot challenges, and you unlock Military camos in order, one by one. Once you’ve unlocked all Military camos for your weapon, you unlock the Unique Camo category.
Unique Camos
Two Camos Per Weapon, per game (six per weapon)
These unlock and are accessible in a similar way to how camos are obtained in Modern Warfare® II and Modern Warfare III. These are unique camos you can only earn with the specific weapon you’re using, but once unlocked, these camos can be applied to any other weapon. Unique Camos have unlock criteria that are more tailored to the playstyle of the weapon. Complete both Unique Camos (in either order) and you graduate to unlocking Mastery Camos!
Mastery Camos
Four Camos Per Weapon, per game (12 per weapon)
Featuring some of the showstopping patterns ever seen in a Call of Duty game, the final focus of your camo grind is unlocking the fabled final four Mastery camos! While we can’t reveal the unlock criteria yet, expect specific, and then general challenges incorporating unlocks across your weapon categories, to unveil Mastery camos in all their unrivalled glory!
Multiplayer Mastery Camos
- Gold Camo: Complete all Military and Unique Camos for the Weapon and then complete the Gold Camo Challenge.
- Diamond: Earn Gold Camo for all Weapons in the Weapon Class and then complete the Diamond Camo Challenge.
- Dark Spine: Earn Diamond Camo for all Weapons in the game and then complete the Dark Spine Camo Challenge.
- Dark Matter: Earn Dark Spine for all Weapons in the Game and then complete the Dark Matter Camo Challenge.
Zombies Mastery Camos
- Mystic Gold Camo: Complete all Military and Unique Camos for the Weapon and then complete the Mystic Gold Camo Challenge.
- Opal: Earn Mystic Gold Camo for all Weapons in the Weapon Class and then complete the Opal Camo Challenge.
- Afterlife: Earn Opal Camo for all Weapons in the game and then complete the Afterlife Camo Challenge.
- Nebula: Earn Afterlife for all Weapons in the Game and then complete the Nebula Camo Challenge.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mastery Camos
- Gold Tiger Camo: Complete all Military and Unique Camos for the Weapon and then complete the Gold Tiger Camo Challenge.
- King’s Ransom: Earn Gold Tiger Camo for all Weapons in the Weapon Class and then complete the King’s Ransom Camo Challenge.
- Catalyst: Earn King’s Ransom Camo for all Weapons in the game and then complete the Catalyst Camo Challenge.
- Abyss: Earn Catalyst for all Weapons in the Game and then complete the Abyss Camo Challenge.
Reticle Challenges
Global System (MP, RBZ, WZ)
The classic Reticle system has returned! Not only are interchangeable weapon reticles back, but there are robust customization and unlock challenges for them, across all three modes!
Equip an Optic Attachment, and select the Cosmetics Tab in Gunsmith, and access the Reticle category. Here you can view the Reticles you’re currently unlocking, along with the associated Challenges, which are always ADS-related. Like Weapon Camos, Reticle sets are available for:
- Multiplayer
- Zombies
- Call of Duty: Warzone
Unlock a Reticle, and you can fix it to any Optic and any weapon, in any game: For example, if you unlock a Reticle from Zombies, and you prefer its look over all other Reticles, you can equip it in Multiplayer and Call of Duty: Warzone as you wish.
Calling Cards and Dark Ops Challenges
Global System (SP, MP, RBZ, WZ)
Calling Card Challenges: The Black Ops way to unlock Calling Cards is back and bigger than ever! Starting at launch, track your progress from a centralized Calling Cards Menu where every type of Calling Card – across Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies, and Call of Duty: Warzone – can be viewed, while also allowing you to see your Calling Cards that are closest to being earned.
There are sets of Calling Cards per mode to unlock, and this menu system also has pages that summarize your progress throughout each set in percentage terms, with the unlock criteria for each Calling Card still readable even after completion. Fans of receiving “100 Percenter” completion animated Calling Cards should be pleased to learn these are also returning, allowing you to prove your dedication and mettle with friends and foes alike. Make sure you add your three favorite Calling Cards to your showcase as part of your Player Profile in the Social menu.
Finally, it wouldn’t be a Black Ops game without Dark Ops Calling Card Challenges! Not seen since Black Ops Cold War, these involve tasks so fiendish, the unlock criteria is until you complete them! These don’t count toward your percentage completion, but they are the ultimate, classified set of Calling Card rewards available!
Emotes and Sprays
Global System (MP, RBZ, WZ)
Adding to the personalization of your Operators are the return of Emotes (a physical taunt or movement) and Sprays (iconography you primarily daub on walls, either to tag them or to tactically flag a location for your teammates).
Emotes (examples shown above) are accessible anywhere you have control over your character, including Lobbies, in matches, and in the Winners’ Circle.
Progression and Prestige
Global System (MP, RBZ, WZ)
The progression systems available throughout Black Ops 6 provide an impressive number of challenges, leveling, Prestiging, and unique rewards well worth grinding for. Here’s an overview of the Progression System available at launch, as well as information on the Black Ops 6 Beta progression systems.
Progression Overview
Leveling Up:
Beta: Levels 1-30, Full Game: Levels 1-55
Leveling Overview: Black Ops 6 Launch Content
At launch, begin your leveling journey with the familiar system, with 55 levels to unlock as you receive Experience Points (XP) based on your in-game actions across all game modes. As you progress through the levels, you’ll unlock a variety of item sets from all three game modes (Multiplayer, Zombies, and Call of Duty: Warzone).
Expect to unlock additional content to your Loadouts. Examples include:
- Default Loadouts (predetermined with recommended armaments)
- Custom Loadouts (your own customizable loadouts)
- Weapons, Tacticals, Lethals, Field Upgrades, and Scoresteaks Perks and Wildcards (some of the Perks and Wildcards you can pick from)
- Zombies Ammo Mods and GobbleGums
The tracking menu for your Level also flags whether the item you’re unlocking is for Multiplayer-only (examples include Perks and certain Field Upgrades), or for All Modes (including MP, RBZ, and WZ, examples include base weapons and certain Lethals).
Leveling Overview: Black Ops 6 Beta Content
The exact same principle applies to the Levels you can reach during the Black Ops 6 Beta, with a few additional caveats:
- You can only reach Level 20 during the first Weekend.
- You can hit the Beta maximum of Level 30 during the second Weekend.
- In addition to the previously listed unlockable items you can utilize during the Beta, additional Beta Rewards are available for reaching certain levels, including an Emblem, Emote, Charm, Calling Card, Loading Screen, Spray, Weapon Blueprint, and different Skins for Westpoint (Operator). Check the full complement of Rewards, and the level you need to reach each of them, in this Guide.
- Beta rewards will be added to your account at the launch of Black Ops 6 on October 25***.
- Whether you reached Level 30 during the Beta weekends or not, all Beta leveling content will reset when the game launches.
Leveling Completion: The Road to Prestige
When you’ve amassed enough XP – in the full version of Black Ops 6 – to completely unlock all 55 Level, moving up the ranks from Private I to Commander and you’ve filled the Level 55 XP bar, you receive the option to take your grinding to the next level.
Welcome to Black Ops 6 Prestige.
Prestige Overview
Global System (MP, RBZ, WZ)
What is “classic Prestige?” For the uninitiated, this is an incredibly in-depth leveling system coming to Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and Zombies at launch, and to Call of Duty: Warzone at Season 1, that rewards your dedicated grind with dozens of truly spectacular and unique rewards. Prestiging is purely optional and can be done at any time once you’ve leveled up to Level 55.
Choose not to Prestige, and your Level caps at 55, and you can continue playing as normal.
Choosing to Prestige
Choose to Prestige, and you enter Prestige 1. You gain access to the following:
- Prestige 1 Icon: You receive your first Prestige icon, which slots into the center of your Level insignia for all players to see.
- Prestige Menus: You can access the Prestige menu screens and gain quick and easy descriptions of how the system works, with viewable rewards.
- Prestige Level Climb: You are now able to climb through 10 Levels of Prestige, each inspired by a title in Call of Duty: Black Ops history.
- Rewards: Concerned there may be a lack of rewards for Prestiging? Fear not: Black Ops 6 has the most rewarding Prestige system ever in a Call of Duty: Black Ops game.
- Prestige-specific Rewards: There's plenty to unlock, and this includes rewards per Prestige, including Operator Skins, Blueprints, and more.
- Prestige Mastery: Complete all 10 Prestige Levels to graduate into Prestige Master, with 1,000 Levels to climb through, also with additional rewards.
Of course, with this being “classic Call of Duty: Black Ops Prestige”, but with a large-scale improvement to the earnable rewards, your level is also reset. Here’s how this works:
- Level Reset: Your Level is reset to Prestige 1. This means all content level unlocks from 1-55 are relocked and must be unlocked again. This includes all the Loadout content – including weapons, equipment, and perks – that you unlocked during the previous leveling.
- Keep Your Progress: However, all your Weapon Levels, Operators, Challenge Progress, Weapon Builds, and Customizations are kept. For example, the AK-74 is unlocked at Level 7. It becomes locked until you level back up past Level 7, but once you do, any prior progress you made with that weapon continues from when you Prestiged.
- Permanent Unlocks: Each time you Prestige you acquire a “Permanent Unlock”. You can keep this indefinitely, or better yet, use it to unlock a single item of your choice within the Levels. For example, if you don’t wish to wait until you’ve leveled back up to Level 7 to unlock the AK-74, you can use the Permanent Unlock and have immediate access to the weapon. Players are encouraged to make strategic choices about which items to permanently unlock, also giving you more control over your gameplay experience by ensuring access to your preferred gear.
- Permanent Unlocks (Additional): Note that Blueprints and Equipment skins that you may own also permanently unlock items, including the “base” version of the item.
- Prestige Rewards: As previously noted, once you’ve Prestiged, you gain access to earn otherwise-unobtainable Prestige Rewards, Prestige Challenges, and an increased XP reward for completing Daily Challenges.
- Stats Reset: Your combat stats – such as your current Elimination/Death record – start fresh every time you Prestige. However, you can always view your career stats across all your levels in the Combat Record menu.
- Seasonal Content: Items acquired from a Battle Pass, Store Bundle, or in-game Event are never locked.
- Prestige HUB: A Prestige menu with rewards showcases is now accessible. Highlights include visuals showing how far you’ve progressed through the Prestige system, and the rewards across future Prestiges, even those you haven’t unlocked yet.
Prestige Leveling
If you took the plunge and entered Prestige, your level resets to Level 1, Prestige 1. The date you entered Prestige is recorded, and you receive instant rewards. Now, as you level up and re-unlock the Level rewards, you also unlock the Prestige rewards as well.
Each Prestige has a theme, featuring a variety of content across Multiplayer and (where appropriate Zombies) related to a specific Black Ops title from the franchise’s past history. For example, Prestige 1 features rewards inspired by 2008’s Call of Duty: World at War.
Specifically, some of the rewards are an homage to the Zombies content in that game. Look for a showcase of this nostalgia and nightmare-fueled content in our Black Ops 6 Prestige blog closer to launch!
Premium Rewards: Though the Black Ops 6 Prestige Progression System is global across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Call of Duty: Warzone, free-to-play players will receive fewer Prestige rewards compared to those who own Black Ops 6. If you decide to subsequently purchase Black Ops 6 while Prestiging and in Call of Duty: Warzone, any previous, premium-only rewards are instantly granted.

This is Black Ops 6 Multiplayer
The Multiplayer Maps
Set to deliver an impressive selection of all brand-new maps at launch, the Black Ops 6 Multiplayer team is focusing on incredible movement and fast-paced, explosive action, and this vision for the game extends to the creation of the 16 multiplayer maps.
All the launch maps are small to medium-sized maps with traditional three-lane routes and have been meticulously designed to fully realize the signature Call of Duty: Black Ops experience. This means offering rapid, energetic combat, along with a variety of scenic set-pieces, cover opportunities, and ranged thoroughfares to ensure your favorite style of play is catered to, from close quarter strikes to long-range sniping, with emphasis always on the action. This culminates into tighter gameplay that’s perfectly suited to Omnimovement.
Maps are split into two main categories: There are 12 brand-new Core 6v6 maps. In addition, there are four brand-new, compact-sized Strike maps designed to be played in either Face Off 6v6 or 2v2 configurations.

Black Ops 6 Beta: Core 6v6 Maps
Babylon (Core 6v6, Playable at Beta, Weekend 2)
Battle amongst the ruins of an ancient city, climbing on its crumbled columns and crawling underneath the palace. There’s plenty of verticality to make use of here, so stay limber as you circle the central alter and seek out the best ground. Back out to the chapel or depot for more concealed views or get heated and rush the middle.
Derelict (Core 6v6, Playable at Beta)
Deep in the Appalachian Mountains, a train graveyard lies shrouded by a lush forest. Abandoned and forgotten, this derelict depot along the NOR Appalachian Railroad has become a prime ambush point for Rogue Black Ops and Crimson One to face off in a deadly skirmish.
Rewind (Core 6v6, Playable at Beta)
Visit the Liberty Shopping Plaza right on the edge of Liberty Falls, West Virginia and wreak havoc through the strip mall. This 6v6 map has a unique layout, as two outer lanes are connected by multiple routes through and around the shops, a video store in the middle housing several major objectives.
Scud (Core 6v6, Playable at Beta)
Deploy to a desert military outpost following a devastating attack. The damaged radar dish and nearby buildings have taken several hits, the air thick with smoke from the surrounding fires. Bunker down in the depot or HQ or flank enemies in the trenches. Watch for snipers near the radar dish; its base provides a near 360-degree view.
Skyline (Core 6v6, Playable at Beta)
Take in breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside from the rooftop of a luxury resort featuring an exquisite penthouse with access to a lounge, kitchen, gym, and pool. Descend into the panic room to cross under the map or fight in the open around the victims of a recent hit job.
Black Ops 6 Beta: Strike 6v6 Maps
Gala (Strike Map, Playable at Beta)
Explore the aftermath of an annual fundraising event in Washington, D.C. Get up on stage or kick back in the lounge. Along the sides, move through a makeshift bar, coatroom, and campaign stand. Every move counts on this tiny map, so get out there and punch the winning ticket.
Pit (Strike Map, Playable at Beta)
Burrow into a small subsection of an underground mining tunnel and collide in the central cave. A ventilation shaft casts some natural light over the cave, the mine tracks within circling back to the narrow tunnels. Climb up the ladders to reach an overhead vantage point or weave between the mine carts for ground floor cover.
Stakeout (Strike Map, Playable at Beta, Weekend 2)
A stakeout in the Mediterranean region of Avalon has been compromised as Operators breach the small apartment, battling through the living room, kitchen, bedrooms, and spilling out onto the balcony. Leftover surveillance equipment marks the progress of the conducted intel-gathering, a smashed-out wall giving the former agents easy access to their gear.
Protocol (Training Map at Beta)
Omnimovement is definitely a gamechanger, but it’s also designed for players of every skill level to enjoy, and for those feeling a little intimidated about controlling an Operator for the first time in the Beta, then ensure you spend time listening to Frank Woods taking you through your paces on the all-new Training Course:
There’s no better way to get used to all the Omnimovement innovations and combat basics required to be proficient in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 than jumping into the Training Course featured on the Multiplayer map, Protocol. Follow the training missions assigned to you and pay attention to the instructions. Run around the Training Course as often as you wish and practice your favorite maneuvers before facing real players in the Beta moshpits!
The Multiplayer Modes
Along with a vast selection of new maps to play, Black Ops 6 is set to offer an equally impressive variety of modes, including many not yet revealed at Call of Duty: NEXT or Beta. For Black Ops 6, Treyarch took the time and looked at all the standard core modes, added some improvements, and ensured they played amazingly well. These improvements include adjustments for Domination and Hardpoint (see below), as well as a brand-new mode you’ll be able to play during the Beta: Kill Order.
New Mode: Kill Order
Eliminate the enemy High Value Target (HVT) while keeping your HVT alive. HVT eliminations earn bonus score for your team.
Kill Order is a 6v6 respawn mode that pits two teams against each other, each with their own High Value Target, or HTV, at any given time. Teams score points for all eliminations throughout the match, however focusing on defeating the enemy’s HVT is worth the largest number of points, followed by eliminations by the HVT, then normal eliminations.
Also expect to play the Face Off Kill Order variant. This follows all the same rules as Kill Order with two caveats. As with all Face Off modes, Scorestreaks are completely disabled. Additionally, Face Off modes will also take place on more compact Strike maps, which can lead to even greater chances for “tactical chaos”!
Other Announced Modes
Other modes announced at Call of Duty: NEXT include the following:
Team Deathmatch: Eliminate enemy players to earn scores for your team.
Domination: Capture, hold and defend objectives to earn scores for your team.
For Black Ops 6, expect the scoring footprint of each Domination flag to be larger, more visibly marked and renamed as a “Zone”, offering greater tactical opportunities no matter whether you’re attacking or defending.
Hardpoint: Capture and hold the Hardpoint zone to earn scores for your team.To heighten the tactical tension and help teams working well together, a number has been added to each Hardpoint zone for players to call out. Play like the pros and call out your rotations to your team.
Face Off: This follows the rules of a particular game mode (Team Deathmatch, for example), with Scorestreaks disabled.
Gunfight: Eliminate all enemy players using pre-determined classes to win the round. No respawns. Gunfight is a 2v2 mode that takes place specifically on Strike maps. In this single-life mode, teams must either eliminate the other team or capture the zone in the center of the map when it appears. Each player will have the same exact Loadout as each other player during a round. Every round, the Loadouts will randomize and players will continue to battle until one team reaches the number of wins required to win.
The Multiplayer Gameplay
Gameplay Overview
Black Ops 6 is driven by ensuring the gameplay feels like a Call of Duty: Black Ops game, delivering fast, fluid, and frenetic action (which can be turned up a few notches on Strike maps). Let’s start with the adjustments to TTK:
TTK: The Time To Kill in Black Ops 6 has been fine-tuned over the course of development to synergize with innovations like Omnimovement and of course with a heavy focus on weapon balance, including the 12 brand new weapons at launch, never before seen in the franchise. Time to Kill is slightly faster than players may remember from Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer while still retaining the ability to react to incoming damage and have meaningful engagements, or disengagements if you prefer. While your enemies won’t have visible health bars, a personal contextual health bar when taking damage is one of the many bespoke features that you’ll find on your own HUD…
Heads Up: Display Options: One of the many innovations made to the game is the flexibility of the HUD, and the Black Ops 6 Beta is the place to try out a few visual examples in preparation for a full complement at launch. Simply access the Barracks, or Settings “cog” menu, select “Interface”, scroll over to “Gameplay HUD”, and choose from the Presets that suit your style of play, as well a variety of Interface Element Colors and Settings.
Audio Improvements: A cornerstone of Black Ops 6 gameplay is how the audio reacts to your actions, and this was a key priority during development. You’ll hear for yourself during the Beta, but making sure a player can hear the most important audio information, at the most important time within a match, is a key feature. Whether it’s ensuring spatially accurate gunplay or footsteps, Black Ops 6 has audio prioritization when you need it.
Slide Cancelling: More advanced maneuvers that take a modicum of skill to pull off are also part of Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and designed to ensure fast-paced and fluid combat. We can confirm Slide Cancelling in any direction thanks to Omnimovement, as well as other favorite maneuvering elements, are part of the game, and you can test this out in the Beta.
Body Shield: If you’re behind an enemy at close quarters, and you require an extra layer of protection, you can choose to double-tap the Melee button and grab them to use as a Body Shield, rough-housing them around for a few seconds while using your foe to absorb any incoming ordnance. Drop the foe with a quick dispatch or Finishing Move before they expire.
Dynamic Death Camera: With the number of hit zones more than doubling compared to previous titles, the way you succumb to enemy fire results in far more bespoke animations. The dynamic camera takes this one step further, following your final takedown in the Kill Cam, and focusing on the death animations. For example, if you’re rocked by an exploding lethal device, the Kill Cam follows your body in its spectacular demise!
Other Features and Enhancements
As well as quickening the time it takes to get into a match, Black Ops 6 Multiplayer brings a variety of refinements and fan-favorite elements to the game. These include:
- Map Voting: Available at Beta, you’re able to vote in the Lobby for your preferred map or a classified random map, prior to a match.
- Best Plays: Depending on the mode and the match-up, expect the final Dynamic Kill Cam to showcase the best play of the game, prior to the Winners’ Circle. For Search & Destroy mode, players will view a Final Kill Cam.
- Winners’ Circle: The most impressive players of the winning team in a match receive their own Winners’ Circle showcase, with some of their statistical competence on display. This is also a location where you can celebrate your prowess more individually by employing a favorite Emote, too!
- Theater Mode: Though not available in the Beta, the Multiplayer experience of Black Ops 6 brings a fully featured Theater Mode at launch, allowing you a robust suite of viewing options, including the ability to watch, pause, slow down, speed up, and play back your previous gameplay, including the ability to take screenshots. Note that Theatre Mode is not available on previous-generation consoles (PlayStation® 4 and Xbox One).
- Ranked Play: We’re excited to confirm that Multiplayer Ranked Play will be coming to Black Ops 6. Not only that; Ranked Play arrives at the earliest point ever in a Call of Duty title, only a few weeks after launch at the start of Season 1!
- Additional Global Gameplay Systems: Ensure you read Blog 1, which details Omnimovement, Gunsmith changes, Global Weapon Builds, Classic Prestige, Mastery Camos, and more!
Multiplayer Weapons and Loadouts
Loadouts
Your pre-match Loadouts screen, which allows for up to ten total Loadouts to be created, renamed, duplicated, or deleted, is based around a weapons bench you can see in the background, behind the Loadout UI. This is updated as you access each part of your Loadout. Your Loadout – also known as Create-a-Class – is comprised of the following:
- Primary Weapon
- Secondary Weapon
- Melee Weapon
- Tactical
- Lethal
- Field Upgrade
- Perks
- Combat Specialty
- Wildcard
Primary Weapons
Your main, and usually hardest-hitting weapon, used for most of your time in combat. Gunsmith is available for this weapon. Choose from:
- Assault Rifles
- SMGs
- Shotguns
- LMGs
- Marksman Rifles
- Sniper Rifles
Weapon Examples: Expect 12 Primary Weapons to be available to use during the Black Ops 6 Beta. Vault Edition players can also try out Mastercrafted versions of some of the most potent weapons on offer, as follows:
Assault Rifle: AMES 85
Vault Edition Mastercraft Blueprint “Plague Doctor”
Full-auto assault rifle. Impressive accuracy and a suitable rate of fire makes this an excellent weapon for mid to long range engagements.
SMG: Jackal PDW
Vault Edition Mastercraft Blueprint “Scourge”
Full-auto SMG. Great mobility and handling make this an easy choice for Operators who aggressively seek CQB engagements.
Shotgun: Marine SP
Vault Edition Mastercraft Blueprint “Unrepentant”
Pump-action shotgun. Powerful and versatile with a short cycling time that allows for rapid target acquisition. Hand loaded with 1-shot kill potential in close quarters.
Sniper Rifle: LR 7.62
Vault Edition Mastercraft Blueprint “Brainstorm”
Bolt-action sniper rifle. The LR 7.62 delivers high damage with minimal recoil and slower handling. One-shot kill to the head, chest, and arms. Focus while ADS to steady.
Secondary Weapons
Your back-up weapon, used in emergency or context-specific situations. Gunsmith is available for this weapon. Choose from:
- Pistols
- Launchers
Weapon Example: Expect three Secondary Weapons to be available to use during the Black Ops 6 Beta, including this impressive sidearm:
GS45
Semi-auto pistol. The GS45’s auto round makes the sidearm unmatched in close range stopping power.
Melee Weapons
Your third weapon is a close-quarters armament with no ranged ordnance. Gunsmith is available for this weapon (Cosmetics only).
Weapon Example: Expect the Knife to be available to use during the Black Ops 6 Beta. Vault Edition players can also try out a Mastercraft version of this blade:
Knife
Vault Edition Mastercraft Blueprint “Mind’s Eye”
Tacticals
Limited-per-life and reusable items that range from intel-gathering sensors to healing or disorientation devices, designed to offer a non-lethal advantage in combat.
Equipment Examples: Expect five Tacticals to be available during the Black Ops 6 Beta. Along with the Concussion and Tactical (Stun) grenades and the Stim Shot that refreshes your health and Tactical Sprint, be sure to try out the Prox Alarm; a set of two sticky alarms that ring and flash when an enemy is near, with tripped alarms showing up on allied minimaps.
Lethals
Limited-per-life items that harm enemies, usually via an explosion.
Equipment Examples: Expect five Lethals to be available during the Black Ops 6 Beta, including the Frag, Sticky, and Thermo grenades, as well as the trusty Combat Axe. For perhaps the biggest explosion in this category, try out the Blast Trap, a planted explosive device that detonates when enemies approach.
Field Upgrades
Impressive tactical or lethal devices that are powerful and recharge during a match after use.
Equipment Examples: Expect five Field Upgrades to be available during the Black Ops 6 Beta, with some being familiar (the Trophy System), some being a hybrid from previous games (the Assault Pack that drops extra ammo and equipment to resupply your team), and some well-suited to Black Ops, like Sleeper Agent. This allows you to infiltrate the enemy team, appearing as a friendly to them for a short duration. Kills extend the time you’re in disguise, though gunfire and closeness to the enemy reveals your true identity!
Perks, Specialties, and Wildcards
The Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Perk system brings innovation, familiarity, and streamlining to your initial choices when choosing the three abilities you bring to each MP match, with added depth as you ponder the advantages of Combat Specialties, as well as the Wildcard feature you can pick to fully flesh out your Operator.
Perk 1, 2, 3: You have a selection from all the available Perks to choose from in one of three different slots. This might be “Assassin” (Enemies on a kill streak get a unique minimap marker and drop Bounty Packs when killed. Pick up the Packs for more Score) in Perk 1 or Double Time (Greatly increased duration of Tactical Sprint) in Perk 3. You pick one Perk per slot, for a total of three Perks that activate immediately at the start of every match.
“Combat Specialty”: In addition to the name and combat capabilities, each Black Ops 6 Perk has color associated with it. This visual reference denotes the Combat Specialty the Perk offers, but only if grouped with two other Perks of the same color (or Specialty).
- For example, “Engineer” (Perk 2) is color-coded blue, meaning it grants the Recon Combat Specialty, but only if your two other Perks (from Perk selections 1 and 3) are also color-coded blue (i.e., they are also grant the “Recon” Specialty).
- Choose three Perks of the same color in slots 1, 2, and 3, and you’re able to pick an additional Specialty.
Combat Specialties
Equipping three Perks of the same Combat Specialty (Enforcer, Recon, or Strategist, denoted by the red, blue, or green color) will activate its Combat Specialty in-game. There are three, which are automatically added to the Specialty slot. If your three Perks are of differing colors (or Specialties), no Specialty is granted. The Black Ops 6 Beta has the following Specialties available:
Enforcer (Red): Killing enemies grants a temporary buff to movement speed and health regeneration rate.
Recon (Blue): Enemies can be seen through walls for a short time after respawn, a HUD edge indicator flashes when an enemy is outside your view, leave no death skulls when killing enemies.
Strategist (Green): Earn a score bonus for objectives and destroying enemy content, see enemy content through walls a short distance, deploy equipment and Field Upgrades faster. WildcardsLastly, you can further augment your favorite Loadouts by adding a single Wildcard. Last utilized in Black Ops Cold War, these allow you to add a modifier that would normally bend or break the rules of the Create-a-Class system. The Black Ops 6 Beta has the following Wildcards examples available (with more at launch):
Overkill: Equip any non-melee weapon in Primary and Secondary slots.
Gunfighter: Receive three extra attachment points for your Primary Weapon.
Perk Greed: Equip an extra Perk.
Scorestreaks
As well as bringing a Loadout to battle, you’re able to choose three Scorestreaks, some of the most powerful recon, tactical, or destructive tools at your disposal. These are earned by increasing your score count during a single life, as score resets if you die. Equip the Dispatcher (Green) Perk, and the score required to access each non-lethal Scorestreak is reduced. Black Ops 6 also has no limitations to the three Scorestreaks you can choose from: Pick any three you like. Examples include the following, which will be available in the Beta:
- Scout Pulse: Radar ping that reveals nearby enemies on the user’s minimap.
- RC-XD: Deploys a small remote controlled, remote detonated explosive vehicle.
- Hellstorm: Control a long-range missile with brake and boost capabilities and secondary missiles.
- Interceptors: Call in a fighter jet squadron that eliminates enemy air targets.
- Chopper Gunner: Take control of the door gun turret on an assault chopper.
Operators and Factions
A partial roster of Operators has been unredacted: These are in-game characters you can play as and are chosen in the associated menu. Additional Operators will be available at launch, but here are the Operators you can pick from during the Black Ops 6 Beta, from both the Rogue Black Ops and Crimson One Factions:
Rogue Black Ops
Crimson One
- Adler (Vault Edition)
- Park (Vault Edition)
- Westpoint
- Nazir
- Bayan
- Marshall
- Brutus (Vault Edition)
- Klaus (Vault Edition)
- Caine
- Toro
- Bailey
- Stone
This is Black Ops 6 Zombies
A second dimensional breach has turned a once-quaint, now-overrun West Virginian town into a bloodied fight for survival. Chaos is crawling through Liberty Falls, and the incursion has even led to the shutdown of the nearby Project Janus command center.
Taking Liberty: One of Two Zombies Launch Maps
The atmosphere of Liberty Falls, which takes place concurrently with the dimensional breach over on Terminus Island, feels a world away from the dark, stormy waters of the Philippine Sea and the massive concrete prison Grigori Weaver and his crew are fighting to escape from.
Players must explore the once-idyllic, now horrific small West Virginian town of Liberty Falls, whose residents have either fled or barricaded themselves into the settlement in a last desperate attempt to survive. By the time you arrive – assumed to be part of the Project Janus forces under the watchful eye of Security Chief John Blanchard – the town is overrun, and the battle seems well and truly lost.
A Tormented Soul
By now you may have realized that Edward Richtofen is back – seen for the first time since the ending of “Forsaken” in Black Ops Cold War – and revelations abound. Plagued by nightmares related to the death of his family, this emotional trauma has become a motivating factor in his actions.
He appears to be continuing his duties as the Director, though this time he’s heading up the clandestine Project Janus organization from an old mansion on the hillside above Liberty Falls.
With Liberty Falls playable at Call of Duty: NEXT, you’ll have witnessed a different set of characters battling their way through the barricaded streets. With Project Janus Security Chief John Blanchard acting as a handler, he assumes your team to be part of a Project Janus security clean-up operation and monitors your progress against the undead from afar.
Traversing the Liberty Falls Map
The way you traverse the town involves scouring the streets for side routes, Ascenders, and even Ziplines to navigate quickly and effectively as the rounds increase, the quest objectives become more obtuse, and the situation grows ever more overwhelming. Whether you’re holed up close to the church, or engaging in a frantic last stand atop the bank roof – aptly-named The Alamo – Liberty Falls requires a slightly different mind-set when you’re planning your survival.
Main Quest Confirmations
During the show, it was confirmed that every Zombies map coming to Black Ops 6 – which includes Terminus and Liberty Falls at launch and additional maps throughout the Seasons – will come with a multi-stage Main Quest, and the Zombies team at Treyarch have ensured these are as involved and difficult as they are entertaining. For veteran Zombies players, and those newer players dedicated enough to drop in and scour the maps to solve clues and secrets, expect to be recompensed with unique and limited-time rewards. We can’t wait to witness the launch weekend hunts to completion!
Additional Guidance: Directed Mode
For those wanting to experience the full complement of round-based Zombies action, including the completion of each map’s Main Quest and the ongoing narrative, but are intimidated at the complexity and difficulty of the game, we have you covered. Introducing Directed Mode:
Directed Mode: This is a new way to grow the Zombies community, enabling newer players – including those that didn’t follow the storyline in previous Zombies experiences – to dive into the game with a little more help than just a Loadout and a will to survive.
- Directed Mode offers direct assistance in completing the Main Quest, with objectives listed on-screen. All Side Quests, Easter Eggs. Trials, and the Rampage Inducer are disabled in this mode.
- Rounds are capped, based on completing certain steps within the progression, so the undead hordes don’t get out of hand before you have time to increase your prowess with the use of Perks and Pack-a-Punch weaponry.
- For example, you may be asked to investigate a location and complete an objective there, during which a Round Cap is set to a certain round number. This means zombie waves will still spawn, but once the round cap is reached and all zombies in that round defeated, the same round will spawn again, until the objective is completed.
- Just as important as growing the Zombies community is allowing the biggest fans of the game enough time to explore the new maps completely unaided, just as they did in the past. Directed Mode will therefore arrive later after launch, with a Calling Card reward available for completing the Main Quest before its Directed Mode goes live.
Round-Based Zombies: Additional Intel
As we gear up for launch, the Zombies team is adjusting and putting some finishing touches to additional gameplay systems, some of which can be found across all games. Highlights include:
- Weapon Mastery Camos: As part of the game’s Global progression systems, players have a separate set of four Mastery Camos to earn in Zombies and apply to any Black Ops 6 weapon. Check out the Global Gameplay Systems Blog to see them in action!
- Dark Ops Challenges: It’s Black Ops tradition to include a set of mysterious, redacted Dark Ops Challenges for players to discover and overcome, and Zombies fans can expect to put those skills to the test once again.
- Reticle Challenges: Customizable reticles are back for any weapon with an Optic sight, and there’s a set of Challenges to unlock Zombies-specific reticles that you can use on sights in Multiplayer, Zombies, or Call of Duty: Warzone!
- Prestige for Unique Cosmetics: With the return of Classic Prestige comes a host of earnable cosmetic rewards, including Operator Skins and Weapon Blueprints, with some directly related to the history of Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies!
Perk Up: Player Power Innovations
During Call of Duty: NEXT, four of the most impactful ways to power up in Round Based Zombies were discussed in greater detail: Perks, Augments, GobbleGums, and Wonder Weapons. You can read about all of these in greater detail in our massive Zombies Intel Barrage blog here.
The Perks of Exploring Liberty Falls
Whether you’re hunting through the Liberty Lanes bowling alley for a delicious can of Stamin-Up or visiting Olley’s Comics for a Quick Revive (as well as the exciting first issue of the Aetherella graphic novel), you’ll have access to the same thirst-quenching Perks found in Terminus at launch:
- Deadshot Daiquiri: Aiming down sight moves to enemy critical location. Increase enemy critical damage.
- Elemental Pop: Every bullet you fire has a small chance to apply a random Ammo Mod effect.
- Jugger-Nog: Increase maximum health by 100.
- Melee Macchiato: Replace weapon gun butt with a deadly punch that sends enemies flying. Find out more about this Perk here.
- PhD Flopper: Immunity to all self-inflicted damage and status effects. Dive to prone triggers an explosion, which increases the higher you fall. Immunity from fall damage while diving to prone.
- Quick Revive: Reduce the health regen delay time by 50%. Reduce the time it takes to revive an ally by 50%.
- Speed Cola: Increase reload and armor replating speed bonus by 30%.
- Stamin-Up: Increase movement speed.
Call of Duty: NEXT Intel: Augments
At Call of Duty: NEXT, the Zombies team reiterated the innovations in your customization experience, courtesy of Augments. These are permanent gameplay advantages you can apply to every Perk-a-Cola, Ammo Mod, and Field Upgrade in the game, and provide a rich and innovative customization experience, allowing you to invest into research between matches. Learn all about Augments here.
- There are over 100 confirmed Augments available to unlock and equip at the game’s launch, divided as follows:
- Perk-a-Colas: Eight, each with six Augments (48).
- Ammo Mods: Five, each with six Augments (30).
- Field Upgrades: Five, each with six Augments (30).
- Augments are chosen between matches as you select a single Major Augment and a single Minor Augment, for each Perk, Ammo Mod, and Field Upgrade.
- A Major Augment offers a substantial advantage to the behavior of the item, usually during use.
- A Minor Augment offers a limited advantage to the item, usually during use.
- The depth of the Augments customization experience becomes apparent as you learn the different effects of each Augment, and how they stack and affect other upgrades across the game. This subsequently allows you to customize your Augments for your style of play, whether solo or squad based.
- If you’ve played a particular role in your squad – as a healer for example – you already know which Augments you need to search for, unlock, and employ along with other related power-ups to optimize your team’s dynamics and survivability!
Call of Duty: NEXT Intel: GobbleGums
Liberty Falls may be a more compact map than Terminus, but it doesn’t scrimp on GobbleGum machines! Choose to chew until you die in four different locations, using confectionary to thwart the infected with the return of this sweet treat, last consumed in Black Ops 3. We revealed all the important rules for cracking your teeth on this killer candy here, and the above image shows some, but not all of the GobbleGums available in the game, but to reiterate some of the more salient points:
- You bring in five GobbleGums in a Pack as part of the Loadout you choose prior to a match. At launch, you can customize up to five packs to cater for different tactical situations. However, you don’t begin with any on your person.
- Instead, GobbleGums are granted (at no cost) from any machine on the map. The GobbleGum you receive is random, from your Loadout Pack, so it’s wise to strategize which are most beneficial to your style of play, as well as which are helpful to your team’s chances of survival.
- You can hold up to three GobbleGums you’ve obtained from the machine, and use them when you like, individually, or all at once.
- GobbleGums are single use. However, they are only “used” when you pop one into your mouth that you were holding, after retrieving it from a machine. Any that aren’t retrieved or eaten are saved for your next game.
- The Vault Edition of Black Ops 6 comes with 12 single-use GobbleGums offering unique in-game effects!
- You can also earn GobbleGums in-game, simply for playing. Expect to earn one (or more!) random GobbleGums every few rounds. You’ll know when you’ve been awarded a new GobbleGum due to a reward sequence at the start of a subsequent Round.
- GobbleGums are here to break the rules of the game, and to manipulate the world to your advantage!
- The GobbleGums available to use during the Call of Duty: NEXT presentation were simply an appetizer to the dozens of candy spheres coming to Black Ops 6 Zombies! Here’s more intel on five example GobbleGums:
- Stock Option: Ammo is taken from the player’s stockpile instead of their weapon’s magazine.
- Arsenal Accelerator: Charge the player’s Field Upgrade faster. Lasts five minutes.
- Shields Up: Armor is twice as strong. Lasts three minutes.
- Temporal Gift: Power-up lasts longer. Activates on next time-based Power-up.
- Anywhere But Here: Instantly teleport to a random location. A concussive blast knocks away nearby zombies.
Wonder Weapons
With the Beamsmasher being put through its paces on Terminus, Liberty Falls features its own Wonder Weapon to wield. Furthermore, each Zombies map in Black Ops 6 features the ability to obtain the Ray Gun, as well as unique Wonder Weaponry specific to the map itself.
Ray Gun
Offering new visual improvements, the Ray Gun is classic zombie-killing Wonder Weapon returning in Black Ops 6, and this potency only gets more impressive as you progressively Pack-a-Punch the pistol!
Thrustodyne Model 23 (Liberty Falls)
An extremely potent – if alarmingly rickety – Wonder Weapon with a bulk that sacrifices some agility in favor of devastating damage, the Thrustodyne Aeronautics Model 23 features a plethora of critically important improvements compared to the version you last had the opportunity to wield in Black Ops 2.
Most importantly, it doesn’t tend to fall apart.
Instead, it sucks zombies into its rotors, and then shreds them out of the back of the weapon. Or, if that isn’t disgusting enough, it can blast a massive shockwave with a huge capacity to stun and maim.
- Primary Fire: After a second or so for the rotor blades to spin up to more than 40,000 RPMs (as indicated on one of the weapon gauges), it instantly pulls in any nearby zombies, mincing them through the engine, and leaving a soggy mess of innards that drops out of the exit chute. More powerful enemies are gradually torn and shredded as well as being stunned.
- Secondary Fire: Purposefully overheating the weapon causes the weapon to belch out a tremendous back blast, with a massive area-of-effect around the user, pulverizing zombies close to the epicenter, highly damaging more potent entities, and stunning any survivors. The weapon automatically overheats at this point.
Overheating: The two gauges on the weapon are more than just for show. One shows the RPMs the rotor is spinning at. The other shows the weapon’s temperature, and constantly firing the weapon eventually causes the weapon to overheat and shut down. It becomes inoperable until it cools down, after which it becomes useful again. The trick here is effective temperature management.
Additional Notes: The weapon has some additional advantages compared to its less reliable predecessor; it never breaks down when it overheats, cools down even when stowed, and can pull in nearby power-ups and salvage. The Thrustodyne M23 can be Pack-a-Punched three times, which appears to increase the maximum fire time and lessen the cooldown time. Don’t be perturbed that you’ve strapped a 40,000 RPM jet engine to your groin; focus instead on annihilating those hordes!
Wunderwaffe DG-2 Replica: Now Available for Pre-order!
While we’re on the subject, any Call of Duty collector craving their own bedside Wonder Weapon may wish to secure a highly detailed, half-scale replica of the Wunderwaffe DG-2, seen wielded in the Liberty Falls cinematic by Director Richtofen himself! A real crowd-pleaser when it comes to holding back the zombie hordes, the Wunderwaffe DG-2 Replica is now available for pre-order at Shop.callofduty.com while supplies last! The pre-order includes the exclusive in-game “Gold Lightning” Camo for Black Ops 6!
Liberty Falls: Gameplay Mechanics Confirmed
While the August 8 “big blog” went into detail on every gameplay element, this blog also goes to town – specifically, to Liberty Falls – where the following gameplay systems were also confirmed to be available:
- Rampage Inducer: The round accelerant is available if you need your zombies extra-focused on devouring you.
- Ammo Caches: Manage your Essence to ensure you can refill your ammunition at any of the Ammo Caches scattered throughout town.
- Barriers: Mow down a few rotting foes to ensure you’re building up your Essence, as it’s the only way to remove the barriers, allowing further exploration. Be a team player, share the purchase of a “door buy” with a fellow teammate. Initial barriers are laser cordons erected by Project Janus. Later into your exploration, locked doors and debris need clearing.
- Crafting Table: Ensure you find all the Crafting Tables, as they’re a great way to craft Tactical, Lethal, and Support Equipment.
- Mutant Injection (Support Scorestreak): Can you visit one of the Crafting Tables and (with enough Salvage) construct an impressively sized syringe enabling you to temporarily transform into a Mangler, replete with arm cannon, blade, and a lax attitude towards wanton destruction? Yes, you can.
- Mystery Boxes: Feeling lucky? Pay Essence and find a random Weapon or Support Equipment here. Note any Weapon you’ve built and saved as a Zombie Build is a possible reward, with an extra Rarity value imbued into it.
- Wall Buy (Weapon): Grab a specific armament off a wall for a modest Essence spend. This is a guaranteed way to get a rarer (and therefore more powerful) version of a specific weapon, and if you learn the weapon a Wall Buy offers, you can build and save a potent Zombie Build of it prior to a match and purchase it right off the wall!
- Wall Buy (Armor): The only sure-fire way to acquire additional Armor Plate Levels is to purchase slots from a Wall Buy.
- Level II Armor Vest (Rare)
- Level III Armor Vest (Epic)
- Ascenders and Ziplines: Traverse Liberty Falls at more than just ground level, as there are numerous Ascenders (vertical) and Ziplines (horizontal) allowing access across the map. All lines lead to the roof of the Liberty Falls Savings & Loans Bank Building, affectionally known as “The Alamo”
- The Arsenal: “How about you stop wasting my time and start wasting the enemy?” The new-and-improved Arsenal allows you to spend Salvage collected from fallen foes, upgrading your weapon rarity (and damage), and choosing an Ammo Mod (one equippable at a time per weapon).
- Weapon Rarities:
- Uncommon (Green): Tier 2 Damage
- Rare (Blue): Tier 3 Damage
- Epic (Purple): Tier 4 Damage
- Legendary (Orange): Tier 5 Damage
- Ammo Mods:
- Napalm Burst (Fire)
- Dead Wire (Electric)
- Cryo Freeze (Frost)
- Brain Rot (Toxic)
- Shadow Rift (Shadow)
- Pack-a-Punch Machine: The Pack-a-Punch machine allows three levels of improvement to your weapon’s damage and ammo capacity. In some cases, it might even change how the weapon functions....
- Exfil: Clear a path and mow down the undead standing between you and an extraction. An exfil pilot is on-hand to rescue you or your team when the situation gets too overwhelming.
Taking Liberty: Horde-Defeating Traps
As with Terminus, your first, faltering steps into Liberty Falls come with ambient encounters specific to the route you take. Step into the bowling alley and witness a grotesque sight on the lanes. Expect carnage at the Rest E-Z Motor Lodge. And prepare to even the playing field with the following traps you can spring on multiple zombie enemies:
Dark Aether Field Generators: With enough Essence, one of the two powerful, zombie-dissolving devices is set up to pulp and pulverize.
Parked Vehicles: Most parked cars not already on fire can be used as a makeshift explosive device. Attract a horde, then detonate the vehicle to finish the job, but watch you aren’t damaged in the blast!
Aetherella Trap: Visit Olly’s Comics and marvel at the latest superhero; the incredible Aetherella! Star of her own graphic novel, the Aetherella standee also comes with a powerful laser, burning hordes of zombies to an unpleasant-smelling crisp.
The Inhabitants of Liberty Falls
Bipedal Shamblers: Zombies
The residents of Liberty Falls are out in force. Expect the remnants of humanity to still cling to the zombies seeking to devour your team, including sheriff’s deputies, cheerleaders, bikers, punks, and other townsfolk.
Grotesques: Armored and Heavy Zombies, Vermin, Manglers
As the hordes increase in size, expect ravenous, spider-like scuttlers known as Vermin to hatch in the most revolting way imaginable. They are joined by the remains of the Project Janus security forces, wearing additional armor and proving to be more of a menace to take down. Manglers soon join the fray; face down their bladed swiping and circular projectiles, and you may be able to scavenge a cannon for yourself.
Abominations
Though not nearly as big as our larger-than-life “Abby” at Call of Duty: NEXT, Abominations periodically join the rotting throngs of lurching undead during chaotic and longer-lasting matches.
Abominations more than live up to their names; these three-headed, bipedal monstrosities summon a beam of electricity to wrack targets in writhing energy, when they aren’t savagely biting, as well as charging humans and zombie alike to clear a path to non-diseased flesh!
This is Call of Duty: Warzone
Call of Duty: NEXT brought the very first live gameplay of the all-new Call of Duty: Warzone map coming to Season 1 later this year. Designed by Treyarch with meticulous attention regarding movement flow, visibility, and narrative direction, let’s take a closer look at the Resurgence Map set firmly in the Call of Duty: Black Ops world.
Set against the unrelenting heat of the Nevada desert, Area 99 – or more specifically, the Echo Ridge Weapons Station – was a top-secret government site constructed in the 1950s, concealed from the public just miles away from the original Nuketown testing site. Designed to push the bounds of radiation testing and cement American dominance, the entire region was subsequently abandoned after an unfortunate reactor leak, and the project erased by the government.
This is the birthplace of Nuketown. Welcome to Call of Duty: Warzone and Area 99.
Area 99: New Warzone Map Overview
Inspired by the rapid and unrelenting gameplay of the Multiplayer map Nuketown, Treyarch deconstructed a lot of what made that map special and applied it here while increasing the size and scope of Area 99 to accommodate the lore and Warzone gameplay mechanics, which is revealed in the various points of interest across the map as well as keeping the gameplay extremely fast and tactical.
Much of the scenery and landscape across Area 99 will be familiar to fans of Nuketown, but on a much larger scale. The landscape has main roadways to traverse on foot and in vehicles (though motorized transport wasn’t in the Alpha build on show at Call of Duty: NEXT), while other points of interest on the map are linked by open trenches of sand, pipework, and wiring. The central Reactor bullseye, and the huge crane balancing a Nuketown house in the air, seem to be vying for hot-drop locations, though much of the action is likely to take place in the center of the map.
Area 99 may be much larger than Nuketown – it is, after all, a Warzone Resurgence Map – but it is still a focused and compact location, with a similar-sized footprint to Rebirth Island.
Archie Atom Says “Stay Positive!”
With unique gameplay flare, Area 99 celebrates the retrofuturism art style, both in the use of materials and architecture of the map. There are locations featuring curved rooflines and once-grand conference rooms with a nod to the Art Deco movement. One of the biggest nods to a future of curved plastic housing with the 1950s Diner aesthetic are the remains of the Pod dwellings, where garish wall colors and compact kitchens collide.
Ruling over the remains of this military compound is Area 99’s official mascot, Archie Atom! Relentlessly chipper, Archie appears on signs and billboards across the site, cheerfully reminding you of the stringent safety protocols, dangers of unsupervised conduct, and threats to the nation if the site’s secrets are exposed. None of this did any good apparently, as Area 99 was seemingly abandoned in March 1962, and has been slowly decaying (and the reactor leaking radiation) ever since.
A Sightseeing Tour of Area 99
Here’s a quick tour of Area 99’s many Points of Interest:
Mannequin Assembly
Not the place to visit if you suffer from automatonophobia, a large-scale mannequin plant – established in 1949 – dominates the northern part of the map. The plant has been overproducing mannequins unsupervised for years since the facility was abandoned, leading to comically large piles of mannequin parts. Thousands of torsos, heads, and arms are strewn everywhere, as the decades of extreme heat and encroaching sand cover the exterior cargo bays with plastic body parts and dune piles.
The interior of the connecting assembly buildings is a dilapidated maze, featuring giant molding vats, a mold preparation system, conveyor belts, a large assembly chamber with rusting, automated robot arms frozen in time, a hydraulic press that’s seemingly operational, and the pervading stench of melting plastic.
Test Site and Bunker
Workers from the Advanced Technologies and Applications Division conduct a variety of highly dangerous tests from the B-207 surface-testing viewing station location, and the connected mainframe war room beneath the sands. Up top, you can easily spot this area due to the helipad, and what was once a live-fire test site with containers, rusting buses, and a central trench. Before being abandoned, it appears the military were testing something called the “Guardian Weapon Platform”…
Delve a little deeper, via either bunker entrance or the metal trapdoors, and you’ll reach a rabbit warren of subterranean subterfuge. A large armory, loading docks for highly combustible ordnance, a War Room with annotated plans to uncover, and the Mainframe where weapon system testing is recorded via cutting edge 1960s tape technology.
Reactor and Cooling Towers
The main source of experimental weaponry, the roof of the central reactor building acts as a bullseye for Operators dropping into the action. This main reactor tower – which was cracked open and has been slowly leaking for the past 30 years – features more vertical gameplay both inside and out, with ascenders and gantry steps providing the access in and out of the core chamber, adjacent computer banks, and curved corridors leading to the Turbines room and Hydro Pumps.
Spread out to the connected radial buildings around the tower as they provide more cover opportunities. Working clockwise from north, this includes Research Station 02, a mechanical bay and motor pool, Research Station 01, a thermal energy storage bay, general storage building, and a gas station, and two concentric circular routes complete with rusting vehicles, crates and other dilapidated machinery. Between the Reactor and the Mannequin Assembly plant are a trio of cooling towers, shut down decades ago and gradually disintegrating away in the inclement weather.
Factory: Warehouse and Manufacturing
Scour the southern part of Area 99 for a uniquely Black Ops location. This isn’t a normal factory, but a unique construction zone where all the basic elements of a Nuketown house – from the walls, interior decoration, and even the infamous red sign – are built, ready for shipping to other possible Nuketown sites being constructed elsewhere.
The construction begins within the red-and-white factory structure – known as “Warehouse” – where raw materials were delivered, house components were constructed and ferried via giant ceiling conveyors to a main shop floor where entire Nuketown houses where prefabricated and moved in their entirety to the transportation gate. Don’t forget to explore the teal-colored factory building – known as “Manufacturing” – as there’s a rooftop conference room, lockers and worker kitchens as well as the huge house-building bays.
The main reason to explore here is a giant bay where the sections of Nuketown houses are pieced together. Roam the long conveyor belt halls, marveling at the sections of walls, home appliances, furnishings, and signage that still sit, waiting for assembly. Come for the Nuketown history and stay for the parkour opportunities and exploration within the large conveyor belts, shipping warehouses, and factory floor corridors.
Loading Bay
The Echo Ridge shipping yard is dominated by a single, gigantic crane structure – and likely power position – that sits above the main loading dock. Big rigs with flatbeds would arrive here, receive entire housing units or other scenic items, and transportation from the site would begin. Close by is a receiving warehouse, but the main attraction is an entire, finished house still fully suspended from the crane winch, with many traversal points whether you’ve used a parachute or ascenders to get here.
Nuketown Shipping
Further along the eastern side of the map are a collection of Nuketown dwellings, some with the remains of their flatbeds and big rig cabins still visible and rusting away in the sweltering sun. These were waiting for transportation paperwork, though the decades of neglect have taken a toll on the buildings and vehicles alike. This is now a boneyard of half-buried homes, slowly consumed by the creeping sand.
Pods
The latest in retro-futuristic pod housing served the community of workers who kept Echo Ridge Weapons Station functioning, and a quartet of brightly colored housing units are still standing today, though in various stages of decrepitude. Each pod features a central pillar (and elevator) with branched living, kitchen, and dwelling chambers cantilevered out from this central column.
Now neglected for 30 years, the peeling walls, half-destroyed roofs and windows, still hold faded memories, though Operators may find long-range sniping opportunities as well as close-quarter room clearance duties if they explore the pods and the stepped exterior pathways. The only survivors are the desert scrub, cholla cacti, and Joshua trees.
The Future of Call of Duty: Warzone
Integrated Innovations
The arrival of Area 99 to Call of Duty: Warzone later this year is one of the many planned changes and innovations to the game. Raven is leading the Black Ops 6 integration into Call of Duty: Warzone, in partnership with Treyarch. We can confirm the following additions to the game, including the integration of Black Ops 6’s global gameplay systems, which we dive deeper into here. Here are some highlights:
- Omnimovement: Seamlessly chain combat maneuvers together, like sprinting, sliding, diving and a newly enhanced supine prone, all with a full 360 degrees range of motion.
- Black Ops Ordnance: All of the Primary and Secondary Weapons (Assault Rifles, SMGs, Shotguns, LMGs, Marksman Rifles, Sniper Rifles, Pistols and Launchers) coming to Black Ops 6 will also be available at the launch of Season 1. A selection of Equipment, including Tacticals, Lethals, and Field Upgrades are also scheduled. Expect more information in the weeks to come.
- Dedicated Melee: You are allowed to bring a third weapon into the warzone as well as your Primary and Secondary guns; a Melee Weapon. This is a close-quarters armament with no ranged ordnance, usually taking the form of a knife or bat, and is an alternate and more proficient attack compared to the Gun Butt strike, which can be equipped by holding the melee button.
- Global Weapon Builds: This Loadout and Gunsmith upgrade effectively allows you to make a change to any build or blueprint in any game, and it permeates across all modes (Black Ops 6, Zombies, and Call of Duty: Warzone). This applies to Black Ops 6 weapons only.
- Carry Forward Content: Expect Call of Duty: Warzone to include the weapons, blueprints, Operators and Skins, and vast majority of the cosmetics from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare® II and Modern Warfare III, as well as full integration into the gameplay and cosmetic content of Black Ops 6.
- Classic Prestige and Relocks: This is an incredibly in-depth levelling system coming to Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and Zombies at launch, and to Call of Duty: Warzone at Season 1, that rewards your dedicated grind with dozens of truly spectacular and unique rewards.
- Relocks: To continue progression through the Prestige system, your Military Levels from 1-55 are reset (also known as “relocked”), and must be unlocked again. However, your weapon progress is kept, there are ways to access your favorite items with Permanent Unlock Tokens, and there’s a Prestige Hub where you can easily keep track of your Prestige progress.
- Emotes and Sprays: Adding to the personalization of your Operators are the return of Emotes and Sprays (iconography you primarily daub on walls, either to tag them or to tactically flag a location for your teammates). Emotes are accessible anywhere you have control over your character.
Pick-3: The Plan for Perks
Though the majority of the Black Ops 6 Loadout system is coming to Call of Duty: Warzone, the way Perks are organized and chosen works a little differently. Welcome to Pick-3.
The current way that Call of Duty: Warzone utilizes Perks isn’t changing drastically; Raven is simply bringing you the elements of the Black Ops 6 experience that work best in Call of Duty: Warzone to this next iteration of the game. This includes retuning past weapons, balancing the Perks and other equipment on offer, and dropping in Rotating and Lootable Perks into matches:
- Pick-3 Perks: Before dropping into a match, you’re able to pick any three Perks from your Loadout.
Wildcards: In addition, you can further augment your favorite Loadouts by adding a single Wildcard. Last utilized in Black Ops Cold War and for the first time in Call of Duty: Warzone, these allow you to add a modifier that would normally bend or break the rules of the Loadout system.
- Lootable Pick-3 Perks: If you’re eliminated in-game, your equipped Pick-3 Perks Pack is dropped, like the current experience, and the Pack can be looted.
- Lootable Perks: During a match, you can gather more than your Pick-3 Loadout Perks by finding valuable Perks in caches and other locations across the map.
- Rotating Perks: To keep the game fresh, updated sets of Perks will be rotated in and out of the loot pool.
- Specialist Remains: The rare and impressive Perk Package will remain in the game.
More Challenges Than Ever Before
- Weapon Mastery Camos: As part of the Global gameplay systems, you have a separate set of Call of Duty: Warzone Mastery Camos to earn for every Black Ops 6 weapon. Consult the Global Gameplay Systems Blog to see them in action!
- Reticle Challenges: Customizable reticles are back for any weapon with an Optic sight, and there’s a set of Challenges to unlock Call of Duty: Warzone-specific aim-markers that you can use on any sight, in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer, Zombies, or Call of Duty: Warzone!
- Dark Ops Calling Card Challenges: This wouldn’t be a Black Ops game without Dark Ops Calling Card Challenges! These involve tasks so fiendish, the unlock criteria is until you complete them! These are the ultimate, classified set of Calling Card rewards available!
Gameplay Enhancements
Backpack to Basics
Raven has been studying the gameplay and learnings from the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) era of Call of Duty: Warzone, and focusing some of this year’s Call of Duty: Warzone iteration on simplicity. One of the key results is the return of the classic in-game inventory system. What does this mean?
No more backpacks.
Allowing for easier muscle memory, when you enter your non-Loadout Inventory in the game, you have a simple series of slots that veteran players will recognize as being laid out in a very similar way to the original equipment inventory. Your inventory has spaces for the following:
- Cash on hand
- Gas Mask
- Armor Plates
- Killstreaks
- Field Upgrade
- Primary, Secondary, and Melee Weapons
- Your AR, SMG, Shotgun, Sniper, and Launcher munitions.
It’s now an extremely simple matter to select equipment, as well as request it from your squadmates. In fact, the only limitation is the amount of inventory you’re allowed to carry.
That problem has a solution with the return of Satchels.
Increased Inventory: Satchels
Satchels were first introduced into Call of Duty: Warzone just over a month after the initial game’s launch in 2020. They are key examples of keeping the inventory simplicity from the early years of Call of Duty: Warzone, but with some added depth (and carrying capacity) for those that need it. The Satchel system returns to Call of Duty: Warzone:
Satchels are optional, lootable equipment that increase the storage capacity of the dedicated inventory slots within a Call of Duty: Warzone Match. These provide Operators with duplicates of the same items to increase your storage capabilities, thus increasing your effectiveness. Satchels can’t be (and don’t need to be) dropped, and one or both of the individual Satchel types can be found and equipped once per match. If an Operator carrying one or more Satchels is killed, all their Satchels are dropped and can be looted. Expect the following Satchel types:
- Armor Satchel: This substantially increases your Armor Plate carrying capacity.
- Munitions Satchel: This increases the Ammunition capacity for AR, SMG, Shotgun, Sniper, and Launcher ammunition.
Other Expected Changes
Raven Software continues its ongoing changes to the game, with hundreds of more minor refinements. Any major changes will be updated and explained thoroughly at the consistently updated Call of Duty Patch Notes website. Here are a few highlights, all expected to drop at the start of Season 1:
- Ascend to Greatness: Accessing both Ascenders and Ziplines, and the animations as you start, use, and complete an ascent or zip, have been modified to be more seamless than ever. There’s a pleasing rapidity to the entire maneuver.
- Live Ping Durations Decreased: The time a ping sits in your field of vision has been decreased, giving you clearer visions of an important location once an area of interest has been ascertained.
- In and Out Again (Part 1): As part of the streamlining of the Call of Duty experience, Call of Duty: Warzone’s menus and in-match user interface (UI) system will be simplified, enabling you to get into a match more quickly, and gain an understanding of the situation more rapidly,
- In and Out Again (Part 2): Expect some entertaining changes to both the Infil and Exfil sequences in the game, and some additional surprises during the launch .
Big Map Lowdown
The Black Ops 6 integration into the next chapter of Call of Duty: Warzone isn’t only about Resurgence-sized maps, as Operators will continue to drop into Urzikstan at the start of Season 1. As Raven ensures the new global content smoothly transitions into Call of Duty: Warzone, prepare for Big Map Ranked Play:
Ranked Play Returns!
Battle Royale Ranked Play: During Season 1, Ranked Play makes its triumphant return to the big map, bringing Ranked Play to Call of Duty: Warzone earlier in the seasons than ever before. Prove your prowess by outsmarting, out-maneuvering, and outlasting the opposition and earn exclusive Ranked Play rewards as you go.

Core Maps
Deep in the Appalachian Mountains, a train graveyard lies shrouded by a lush forest. Abandoned and forgotten, this derelict depot along the NOR Appalachian Railroad has become a prime ambush point for Rogue Black Ops and Crimson One to face off in a deadly skirmish.
Visit the Liberty Shopping Plaza right on the edge of Liberty Falls, West Virginia and wreak havoc through the strip mall. In this unique layout, two outer lanes are connected by multiple routes through and around the shops, a video store in the middle housing several major objectives.
Take in breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside from the rooftop of a luxury resort featuring an exquisite penthouse with access to a lounge, kitchen, gym, and pool. Descend into the panic room to cross under the map or fight in the open around the victims of a recent hit job.
Strike Maps
Explore the aftermath of an annual fundraising event in Washington, D.C. Get up on stage or kick back in the lounge. Along the sides, move through a makeshift bar, coatroom, and campaign stand. Every move counts on this tiny map, so get out there and punch the winning ticket.

Babylon
Battle amongst the ruins of an ancient city, climbing on its crumbled columns and crawling underneath the palace. Back out to the chapel or depot for more concealed views or get heated and rush the middle.
Weekend 2 Strike Map
Stakeout
A stakeout in the Mediterranean region of Avalon has been compromised as Operators breach the small apartment, battling through the living room, kitchen, bedrooms, and spilling out onto the balcony. Leftover surveillance equipment marks the progress of the conducted intel-gathering, a smashed-out wall giving the former agents easy access to their gear.
