'DeathSprint 66' Reveals More Details About Its PvE Modes - Trailer

by Rainier on Aug. 29, 2024 @ 7:00 a.m. PDT

DeathSprint 66 redefines hardcore arcade racing, fusing high-speed on-foot racing with a dystopian setting and deadly obstacles.

We heard your pleas, and we're giving you what you want. Thanks to advancements in cloning and STEM-Link technology, our jockey-piloted runners will be eviscerated like never before in a near-endless supply of cloned bodies. Tune in to see streams of blood splatter the course, as eight racers dash through our trap-filled tracks, facing off against deadly buzzsaws, perilous leaps, and the biggest threat of all – each other. Heads will roll, just like you always wanted them to!

To be successful, runners will need to generate Hype by pulling off daring manoeuvres, earning them deadly weapons and serious speed boosts to get an edge on their competition. Those who survive will be rewarded with generous sponsorships from some of the biggest international conglomerates to adorn their clone's bodysuits. But death isn't the end – we'll throw as many clones onto the track as it takes to reach the finish line.

Eight players battle in on-foot races through hazard-filled courses, shoving their opponents into deadly traps and chaining together parkour moves to generate Hype and win over the crowd.

Tune in for the biggest race of your life!

Listen up, clone jockeys!

We’re a matter of weeks away from the launch of DeathSprint 66 and to make sure you’re prepared, we’re bringing you all the details of the game’s single-player features, known as Episodes.

Episodes are a set of PvE-focused modes that provide players with the opportunity to win rewards by taking part in 3-5 stage tournaments, both solo and against AI opponents, with added mechanical twists and challenges thrown in for good measure.

Get ready to run, jump, and drift through Time Gates in Killing Time as you race against the clock to complete our courses and avoid painful (and messy) head explosions if the timer hits zero.

For those adrenaline junkies who want to test their execution alongside their speed, compete against the Bachman-bots in Five Lives, where anything less than first place is failure, and the clones available to you are limited. It’s a no-holds-barred fight for survival!

Still not enough? Then partake in our Bloodbath Circuits and Sprints, where everything is trying to kill you, and we mean EVERYTHING. These sadistic tracks have double the traps and double the brutality with abilities that are massively weighted to attacking your rivals. Who needs a Mag Shield anyway?

There are nine mini tournaments to conquer, designed to challenge the very best Clone Jockeys. Will you rise to the challenge or make a generous contribution to the clone recycling program?

Key Features:

  • Eight player on-foot racing mayhem in The Deadliest Show on Earth
  • Dodge buzzsaws, lasers, and Death Pits to stay on course
  • Earn Hype to boost past other runners, or gain weapons and tools to get the upper hand
  • Survive races and earn sponsorships to customise your clone's bodysuits

DeathSprint 66 is coming to PC (Steam) on September 12, 2024.
