Retro Arcade-style Rally Racing in repurposed Parking Garages in big cities across the USA.

The “Parking Garage Rally Circuit” tour takes you to parking garages across the US, transformed into race courses (and occasionally beset by the odd falling rock or lighting strike, but don’t worry about that). Designed to look, feel and sound like a lost Sega Saturn game that could have been released in 1998, Parking Garage Rally Circuit delivers delightfully fun time trial racing that’s easy to pick up and play but requires skill to master as you unlock new car classes and compete to top the leaderboards.

Parking Garage Rally Circuit features 8 tracks for you to unlock, along with three progressively harder car classes to race with. As you refine your times by mastering the game's effortless and compelling drifting system, the game will pull in ever tougher ghosts based on the runs of other players on the leaderboards for you to compete against, always giving you a new challenge to aim for.

If that’s not enough for you, you can also head online to create and join lobbies of up to 8 players and race on any track, with any car class, gaining points after each race. The game will also feature an arcade-style ‘Endurance’ mode where you keep doing laps until you run out of time, with each checkpoint adding a diminishing amount of time. There are also cheat codes in the game for players to discover and unlock fun modifiers, as well as special cars and tracks.

The game also features an amazing original soundtrack composed by The Holophonics, which will be available for purchase on Steam, as well as all major music streaming services once the game launches.

The above release date trailer offers a look at the arcade racer where you drift around parking garages using tight controls and chainable Mario Kart-style boosts. If the game sells 50,000 copies, it will be making its way to Switch in the future and, if it sells 100,000, it will also get a Sega Saturn version!

“I’m really excited to release Parking Garage Rally Circuit on PC on September 20th,” said Tim FitzRandolph, the solo dev behind the Walaber name. “This game started as a fun little game jam inspired by my affection for the Sega Saturn, but it has had such a great response from people and has grown into something far bigger. I hope people have as much fun playing it as I have had developing it!”

If the game sells 50,000 copies, it will be making its way to Switch in the future and, if it sells 100,000, it will also get a Sega Saturn version!

• You said "Parking Garage"?: The “Parking Garage Rally Circuit” tour comes into a city, selects a parking garage, and temporarily turns it into an exciting rally course for a week-long competition. Each track in the game is styled as a unique parking garage that has been turned into a race course.
• Rally... Circuit?!?: This is a hybrid of Rally and circuit racing. From rally it draws the jumps and “one racer at a time against the clock” time-trial format. However, the tracks are similar to circuit racing, with each race consisting of multiple laps around the same track (the track may change slightly from lap to lap, however) Controls are very tight, simple and arcadey, similar to Mario Kart (accelerate, reverse, steer, drift), but with a bit more dynamic “smash into things” physics.
• Seamless Leaderboards: After beating the gold trophy for a course, ghosts from other players just barely ahead of you on the leaderboard are automatically downloaded to race against, getting you into that "just one more" flow as you chase down rivals. Limiting the auto-download rivals to Steam friends only is also an option.
• Realtime Multiplayer: Create or join a lobby of up to 8 players for realtime peer-to-peer non-contact racing!
• Retro Style: Designed to look and feel like a long lost Sega Saturn game that could have been released in ~1998. This includes low-resolution, low-poly, chunky textures of course, but also extends to the audio, simple interface, and streamlined game scope. Oh, and CHEAT CODES too!

Parking Garage Rally Circuit is coming to PC (Steam) on September 20th, ahead of a potential Nintendo Switch and Sega Saturn release in the future.
