Synth Beasts is an Action/RPG with real time combat where you catch monsters (like Pokemon) and use their abilities to traverse the open world by ship.Capture monsters to use them against the scientists who created you. Sail the open ocean in a stolen boat belonging to your captors, and destroy their failed experimental creatures to put an end to the creation of the Synth Beasts.
Synth Beasts combat plays out in realtime, that means no waiting for turns! Your wit and skills together with your Synth Beasts' levels will determine how effective you are in battle. Each Synth Beast can level up 5 times upon gathering enough experience points, and each level has a unique bonus for each Synth Beast. For instance, some may gain the ability to light/snuff torches, others might improve their combat abilities through shooting more projectiles, and others can learn to jump/dash through specific obstacles.
The Synth Beasts are experimental creatures created by the sketchy scientists of the Genesis Archipelago. Escape the islands, foil the scientists' plans, and free your fellow experiments in order to put a stop to the creation of the Synth Beasts.
Within the first minutes of the start of Synth Beasts, you get access to a boat that you can steal from one of the scientists. Navigate freely around the Genesis Archipelago, and explore the dozens of islands, each of them containing unique treasures to find and Synth Beasts to capture.
Developer Radhood Advance are launching a Kickstarter campaign in Q1 2025 that will allow the community to be involved in the final stretches of the game's development.
Certain tiers will allow backers to make their own monsters, design their own small islands, and even get access to a pre-launch beta to influence the final balance of the game.
Synth Beasts will have about 40 monsters on launch. However, the Kickstarter campaign will allow backers to increase this number by designing their own.
