Gravelord draws inspiration from classic FPS titles like Doom and Quake, blending nostalgic gameplay mechanics with modern enhancements.
Players step into the boots of Queedo the Gravedigger, dumb as hell but as strong as an ox, as he sets out to avenge his father while using his trusty Total Uber Shovel to beat the living crap out of his enemies and give them a first-class ticket to the underworld.
Use the best weapon for any given situation, or just rely on your favorite -- both ways are viable! Upgrade your weapons to unlock a second, powerful fire mode. Discover synergies between weapons and their fire modes to create maximum carnage!
Let's put the fun back in funeral!
Fatbot Games is thrilled to announce that Gravelord is officially launching into Steam Early Access today, and will remain so for about a year.
“We’ve poured our sweat and tears into creating a game that captures the spirit of old-school shooters while delivering a couple of fresh twists,” said Tibor Repta, the team lead at Fatbot Games. “With Gravelord, we want to challenge and delight fans of the genre, and early access will help us fine-tune the experience with community feedback.”
The early access version of GRAVELORD includes the complete first episode, a bonus level, and an array of features that define the game’s unique blend of retro aesthetics and modern gameplay. Additionally, the proprietary level editor will be released in the coming months, allowing players to design their own levels and share them with the community.
“We plan to add 2 more episodes, new monsters, new weapons, and some other gameplay features that will shake things up a bit.”
