The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Starsand Island will take full advantage of the console’s hardware, with Quality Mode targeting 45FPS in 1080p resolution, and 60FPS in 1080p resolution in Performance Mode (both docked and handheld), together with Game Chat during online multiplayer, and mouse control functionality.

“Bringing Starsand Island to Nintendo Switch 2 has been a longstanding goal for us; the life-sim genre has a natural home on Nintendo consoles. Even before it was announced nearly a year ago, we knew - and wanted - our game to be on Nintendo’s next-generation platform. Starsand Island transports players to a simple, pastoral life, and we think that should be available whether they’re at home, commuting to and from work, or taking a break,” said Seed Lab Creative Director Richardo Wang.
