One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is the fourth installment in the One Piece: Pirate Warriors series, an action-adventure, Musou game based on the classic Shonen Jump series One Piece.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 features the latest stories, characters and environments from the One Piece anime, including Whole Cake Island. One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 also features “Musou" action, where players can use powerful “Musou” attacks to take on huge amounts of enemies and clear the field of battle in one fell swoop with their favorite characters.
Heroes, Foes, Legends, and more from across the World of One Piece collide once more as Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is coming to new-gen consoles, with the release date to be revealed later.
The new version will bring one of the most popular games based on the beloved anime franchise to even more players, with the original selling 4 million units sold worldwide since its launch in 2020.
Once released, both versions of the game will continue to receive updates as new DLC will be released in the future, including one where fans can pick their favorite characters to play in the game. One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 will be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with free upgrades available for players who own versions on PS4 and Xbox One.
But that’s not all!
New content will also be on its way, among which fans will be able to have a say. A Character Poll to decide the characters in the upcoming DLC is starting now until 28th February, where fans can select up to three favourite characters from a list of 23.
A Bandai Namco ID is needed to participate. Based on the results, characters will be making their way into the game as an upcoming paid DLC.
More on the upcoming DLC packs will be revealed at a later date.
Currently available for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam), One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S soon.
