As well as the civil war dividing the country, the region is suffering from a mysterious calamity, which has given rise to supernatural creatures that no modern weapon can defeat. Your drone and sword from a different age are your faithful allies as you cut a path through lands infested with terrifying chimeras and try to unravel the mystery of their appearance.

Publisher NACON and studio Rogue Factor announced that Hell is Us releases on September 4, 2025, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Pre-orders are now open on the PlayStation Store and will open in the coming days on Xbox and PC.

After introducing its dark and mysterious world in the previous State of Play, Hell is Us now outlines some of the stakes in its complex plot and its cryptic main character, Rémi, through brand-new footage.

This new trailer features the voice of Elias Toufexis, who lends his voice to Rémi in the English-language version of the game. Elias Toufexis is known for his major roles in television (Star Trek: Discovery, Criminal Minds, Supernatural, The Expanse) and in renowned video game franchises such as Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, Starfield, and especially through his role as Adam Jensen in the Deus Ex saga. Jonathan Jacques-Belletête, Artistic and Creative Director on Hell is Us, had already collaborated with Elias Toufexis on this occasion, when he was in charge of the art direction of the franchise. 

“I'm delighted to join my friends on Hell Is Us,” explains Elias Toufexis. “I wanted to take this role because Remi is particularly interesting: while he may seem cold or reserved at first, we gradually discover the complexity of his character, and the events that have shaped his personality. The world of the game is so endlessly fascinating. I can't wait for people to play it!”
