You are formally invited to join the Midnight Murder Club, the most prestigious secret society you’ve never heard of.

Put on your mask, grab your flashlight and revolver, and quietly step into the shadows of Wormwood Manor for some tense and hilarious fun with your friends, where the only light you’ll ever see will come from a flashlight piercing the darkness or gunfire piercing your heart. Turning your flashlight on will let you see which of the 30+ elaborately decorated rooms you’re currently in, but it will also give away your position to your enemies who might be hiding closeby. It’s the ultimate game of flashlight tag.

When you can’t rely entirely on sight, sound becomes that much more important. Midnight Murder Club has detailed positional audio, which we paired with a fantastic implementation of proximity chat for a truly immersive experience. If your teammate’s speaking to you in the main hall, their voice will echo realistically through the hall and into the surrounding rooms. When a gunfight breaks out in another part of the mansion, you’ll be able to accurately follow the muffled player laughter and gunfire to point you in the direction of the action. It’s like you’re actually in the mansion!

The only light you’ll ever see will come from you or your opponents.

Velan Studios announced that Midnight Murder Club is now available in early access, with crossplay and cross-progression support for PS5 and PC at $19.99 USD.

The early access release will bring forth a thrilling new game mode called Wildcards, where players will get a chance to play cards from their collection that will change the rules for everyone in the game in wild new ways! The full version of the game will be available in early access for $19.99 USD, along with a Guest Pass Edition which grants access to up to five friends at no additional cost.

On top of the existing Free for All, Thief in the Night, Team Deathmatch, and Headhunters modes, we’re excited to introduce a brand-new mode that lets you break the rules like never before! In the new Wildcards game mode, players will play cards from their collection that change the rules for everyone in-game in wild new ways! From hijacking the toys that appear in vendors, to giving everyone super speed, to exploding into flames when you die—use these cards to show your wild side! Then, when the dust settles and the match is over, you’ll be gifted brand new cards to add to your collection giving you even more ways to change the game. In the new Wildcards game mode, it looks like chaos is in the cards!

We know that playing with friends is the best way to play any game and with the Midnight Murder Club Guest Pass Edition, it’s easier than ever! Midnight Murder Club Guest Pass Edition allows your friends to join your game and play for no additional cost!

To put it simply: If one person buys the game, they can invite up to five Guest Pass Edition players to play together for no additional cost in public or private matches, in all current game modes, as much as you want.

To make it a real party, Velan Studios has also released the Midnight Murder Club Guest Pass Edition at no charge.

Every room in the mansion is yours to creep through and the reclusive owner has hidden a veritable treasure trove of surprises for you to find! Immolate your friends with the Flame Thrower, ensnare them with the Electrified Bear Trap, and go in guns-blazing with a Tommy Gun. Each toy could give you the edge you need to survive the night in the variety of modes the mansion has in store for you and other guests.
