New tracks are joining the 2025 calendar for even more intense racing across the globe: the legendary Brno in Czechia, back after five years, and the new Balaton Park in Hungary.
Technical skills, mental strength and strong passion are key ingredients for any MotoGP rider eager to leave a lasting mark in the sport. This mix of characteristics can be summarized as the Heart of Racing, the concept behind the new MotoGP25, which blends all these elements to offer fans the most comprehensive virtual MotoGP experience yet.
The brand-new Training Sessions feature is one of the biggest novelties of the new chapter of the franchise. Just like real riders, players will have the opportunity to enjoy some riding time away from the competition, mastering their craft and improving their skills in the Motard, Flat Track and Minibikes disciplines, experiencing dedicated challenges set in original tracks immersed in beautiful environments.
Regardless of players’ skill level, the new MotoGP25 allows everyone to express their racing passion with the new Arcade Experience, a simplified racing experience available in all game modes and all types of bikes. This option offers a more accessible approach to the game for those who are less familiar with motorcycle simulation but want to feel the thrill of pushing to the limit. It’s not just physics, in the new game it will be possible to see and feel every detail thanks to Unreal Engine 5 and renewed bike sound, realized with dedicated live recording sessions of the original bikes to truly immerse players into the world of MotoGP.
Milestone and MotoGP released the "Beyond the Grid" trailer, offering an in-depth look at the upcoming MotoGP 25
The brand-new "Race Off" mode adds even more variety to the gameplay experience, allowing players to try out different types of motorcycles – a first in the franchise's history. Just like real riders, fans can train in three unique disciplines with distinct physics and handling, available both in the career mode and as standalone events. The following bikes are available to choose from:
- Motard : fast motorcycle to learn how to master speed and handling
- Flat Track : an off-road motorcycle that allows you to maintain control even in difficult conditions
- Minibike : small but precise two-wheeler that requires a high degree of accuracy
Each type of motorcycle sharpens players' skills and also unlocks special rewards.
MotoGP 25 also marks the introduction of two different physics systems, allowing everyone to race according to their own preferences. The "Arcade Experience" is perfect for those who want to dive straight into the action without losing any of the authenticity. The bike's handling is easier, and there's no need to think about setups and fine-tuning. It offers players fast and accessible gameplay that still captures the essence of MotoGP. The "Pro Experience," on the other hand, is pure simulation. Here, you can adjust and optimize numerous elements such as bike settings, tire management, rider aids, electronics, and fuel consumption.
For fans of the most realistic racing experience possible, there's another new feature: a refined Bike Development System , where improving the bike's performance is entirely up to the players. Communication with the team will also be crucial, as players can suggest changes to the team engineers in dedicated debriefings and meetings. Once the bike has been modified based on the input, it will be possible to evaluate the updates in dedicated test sessions and then achieve the perfect setup.
MotoGP 25 also offers a significant improvement in sound: the bikes roar louder than ever before and offer an authentic motorcycle sound created using live recordings of the original bikes.
Off the track, rivalries with other riders become even more apparent thanks to the revamped Social Relationships Management feature. A new HUD helps you better understand the status of each competitor and anticipate their moves based on the evolution of their rivalry. Of course, everything is controlled by the FIM MotoGP™ Stewards, the race control system introduced in the last chapter and now updated. Player behavior and results also have a major impact on the opportunities available on the rider market during the off-season.
In terms of multiplayer, MotoGP 25 players will be able to compete both online and offline with cross-play* available from day one, new ranked races, the Live GP Championship* and local split-screen mode for two players.
Finally, the new chapter in the MotoGP franchise unleashes player creativity through in-game editors. From helmets to stickers, race numbers, butt patches, and even the new podium emotes, countless creations can be created and shared with the community upon request*.

Finding lots of fans in the previous chapter, the Riders Market and the FIM MotoGP Stewards are back. That’s not all, a new Bike Development System will give players more control over the evolution of their bikes through the season, alongside the challenge of managing social relationships in the paddock to take fans deeper into the life of a real rider.
Those who want to test their limits against the world will appreciate the full Cross-play*, available from day one, as well as the new ranked races, in which it will be possible to compete against players of the same level. Moreover, the LiveGP Championship* is back with new challenges, while the two players local split-screen is the perfect choice to race from the comfort of the couch.
Once again, the community will be able to free their creativity with the game editors. From the helmet editor - where one of the players’ designs even became a real helmet worn by Maverick Viñales’ during last September’s San Marino GP – to the racing number, butt patch, sticker editor and the new podium emotes. Everyone will be able to personalize their virtual rider and share their creations with the world across different platforms*.
MotoGP 25 is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam / Epic Game Store) on April 30, 2025.
