1047 Games opens the portal to the Splitgate 2 final beta today, welcoming players looking to ramp up their skills ahead of the game’s official launch on PC (Steam and Epic Game Store), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4 and PS5.

Splitgate 2’s final open beta showcases the signature fast-action gunplay across a variety of modes the game will offer at launch. 1047 Games promises “one more massive surprise” when they unveil the final component to the game on launch day and the game officially goes 1.0. Player progression will not reset after the beta, so stay locked in because there’s even more on the way. 

Fans looking to hone their preferred playstyles across the many game modes offered in the open beta can get a glimpse of what’s available in the above incredibly badass trailer.

The open beta will be live through Splitgate 2’s 1.0 launch and is FULLY LOADED, offering fans a deep look at what the 1047 team has been hard at work on since 2022, but it’s just the start of what is in store for 1.0 launch day and beyond.

Here’s a look at what’s live today:

• Debuting today is The Lab, Splitgate 2’s new map creator which allows players to design their very own maps and game modes. Start from scratch and build something awesome, no experience required. 
• Takedown and Four New Simulation Maps - Takedown is BACK. OG players loved playing Takedown on Splitgate’s Simulation maps. Compete to wipe out the other team before any players can respawn into the game - but there’s a catch: killing makes your team’s respawns shorter, and dying makes your team’s respawns longer. The first team to have all enemy players down at the same time wins. 
• Stadium 2.0 - An update of the fan-favorite arena map debuts today, joining Bypass, Eden, Frontier, Ozone and Zenith. 
• New 24-Player Onslaught Maps: Drought and Fracture - These two giant new additions join Glacier for the game’s “Onslaught” modes (previously called Multi-team Portal Warfare in the last Alpha).
• Three More New Maps during Beta - That’s not all. Three more new maps will join Splitgate 2 between now and launch…
• New Power Weapons - For the first time, in the open beta you’ll get to play with the Borealis, a new showstopping power weapon from the Meridian faction. 
• Hunt the Devs Returns - For those who didn’t get a chance to participate in 1047’s “Hunt the Devs” event during the Open Alpha, it’s coming back. This is another opportunity to earn an exclusive skin without paying a dime.
• How it works: during any match, kill a 1047 dev wearing the special flaming disco ball skin, and you’ll receive the corresponding “Dev Killer” skin for the faction they’re playing. Kill devs playing the Aeros, Sabrask, and Meridian factions and you’ll collect all three.

Locked in yet? More than 25 weapons will be available in the open beta, arming fans with a sampling of the best Splitgate 2 has to offer, with more on the way at and post-launch.
