Midway Games Inc. a leading software industry publisher and developer, announced today that Grammy-nominated Vanessa Carlton, FLIP/GEFFEN's recording act COLD, DJ Rocky Rock and MC Supernatural will perform live at Midway's booth #800 in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center for E3 2003, May 12-16. Each band has recorded original songs for some of Midway's hottest game releases including SpyHunter® 2, ESPionage(TM) and NBA Ballers.

Grammy-nominated Vanessa Carlton is featured on SpyHunter® 2, the high-speed, mission-based, action/combat racing game introducing the world's most powerful counterintelligence combat vehicle, the completely redesigned G-8155 Interceptor, which is complete with new vehicle transformations. In February 2002, singer/songwriter Vanessa Carlton's debut single A Thousand Miles hit the charts and the video was featured in heavy rotation on MTV. Rolling Stone magazine cited her as one of the top ten artists to watch in 2002. Her debut album, Be Not Nobody, is now certified platinum. COLD (Thursday, May 15, 4:30 p.m.)
The raw talent and unique lyrics of COLD will rock E3. Featured on Midway's ESPionage(TM), COLD adds intensity to the first action/stealth videogame to integrate traditional weapons combat with extensive Psi (psychic) mind powers. COLD originates from Jacksonville, Fla., where the band debuted its self-titled first album in 1998. Their second album 13 Ways To Bleed On Stage, which recently went gold, premieres one of COLD's most popular songs, Just Got Wicked. COLD band members Scooter Ward, vocals; Kelly Hayes, guitar; Jeremy Marshall, bass; Terry Balsamo, guitar; and Sam McCandless, drums, will integrate their unique lyrics for a number of tracks in ESPionage, as well as the theme song. ESPionage is scheduled to ship in fall 2003 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and Nintendo GameCube(TM).
DJ Rocky Rock and MC Supernatural (Friday, May 16, 12:00 p.m.)
DMC Champion DJ Rocky Rock and World Freestyle Champion rapper MC Supernatural will deliver hip, new styles to the E3 stage. Fresh back from the "Project Revolution" tour with Linkin Park, they bring the beats to NBA Ballers, the only basketball videogame to deliver the pure essence of basketball by highlighting the excitement and intensity of one-on-one confrontation, set within the alluring fantasy lifestyle of NBA superstars. NBA Ballers is scheduled to ship fall 2003 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and Nintendo GameCube(TM).
