Disciples III: Renaissance is the next title in the award winning Disciples series and represents a leap forward in the evolution of the turn-based RPG/strategy genre. Building on the successes of the first two games, DIII introduces a host of new features as well as the compelling gameplay that made the previous titles such hits.
As a Lord of one of the fantastical races of Nevendaar you must fight to restore your deity's rule over your world. There are three playable races to choose from; the Empire, the Elven Alliance and the notorious Legion of the Damned.
For the first time in the series the gloriously ominous and notoriously gloomy world of Disciples is rendered in full 3D, allowing the player to experience this realm as it should be. Disciples uses its own Virtual Dream engine to render the stunning 3D environments.
Numen (Action / RPG)
As an awkward youth you always felt that there was something greater meant for you. Meant only for you. In your village they never understood, but you always felt the divine hands of the gods resting upon your shoulders, guiding you onwards. Now, finally the time has come to understand what it is that they truly want from you. All the time they watch us mortals, playing games with our fate, yet now it is their fate which rests in the hands of but a few mortal beings.
The gods resting high upon Mount Olympus are beset on all sides by the jealousy of their contemporaries. The conflict has raged for eternity, the egos of each immortal grating against the others, until now there has to be resolution. The gods have each taken it upon themselves to shelter a mortal under their protective wing and guide them to glory. With the strongest of these heroes will come the strongest immortal who will then be crowned the most powerful above all.
You must align yourself to a patron-deity, but choose wisely for each is different and each offers challenges and rewards you will not find anywhere else. These divine tutors can bestow upon you gifts of new talents and abilities, but only if you learn to pay homage and offer them your devotion and respect.
The beautiful world in which your character inhabits is a fantastical world based upon the tenets of the great Greek myths. It's an ancient Greece full of mythical creatures, legendary warriors and blood-thirsty, ambitious Gods. Villages and settlements spread out over vast seashores and stony plains, populated by both the peaceful and the hostile. Either of whom might just need a hero's powers...

Johnny Meyer, the main hero of the game finds himself at an abandoned farm in the desert. He remembers nothing. Why is he here? Why are his hands equipped with a baseball bat? And why are there so many zombies roaming around? He has found a car and a pistol and is heading into his native Snake City. Almost all of the residents of the town have disappeared or escaped. The few that remain have told Johnny that the zombies have established some strange generator that emits yellow fog. Anyone who comes in contact with this fog becomes a zombie …

Times are always tough and things just got a whole lot tougher for you. Penniless, retired and homeless, all thanks to a brief moment of compassion. What were you meant to do? The injured red Indian needed your help or he was going to die, how could you refuse a dying man?
Well, maybe if you'd known that Black Bill's bandits were after him and wouldn't take kindly to you sticking your nose in where it wasn't wanted. And they really didn't. It's not like the farm really made all that good a living, but at least it was yours, a change from your transient, sharp-shooter days.
But now you've got to go back to it again, without your farm and without the capital to rebuild it your only hope is Westtown's infamous bandit-tournament. Organized in memory of notorious robber James Starr, set up to test the skills of the best bandits in the old West the cash prize isn't the main draw. Starr's reputed treasure map is to be given to the final overall winner.
So that means some tough competition, and you're not getting any younger and you just know Black Bill's goons are never going to be far away with this sort of booty up for grabs...
