Geson Hatchett: I love Doom. Have for years. I still play it to this day. I would love to play Doom 3 on the PC, but it costs too much. Thank you, id Software, first for making a new installment to one of my favorite games of all time, and further for taking time out to compress your technical wonder down to a manageable size so that I can play it without buying an entirely new computer. I'll even take the nod to survival horror that Doom 3 reportedly has, as I don't play many of those types of games. To date, I've never had one of those "don't play it with the lights out or you'll be scared to death" moments, and I wholeheartedly look forward to finding out what people see in them when I get a copy in my hands.
Corey Owen: The third game of the most beloved FPS franchises of all time is finally arriving on the Xbox! The atmosphere this game exudes is the creepiest I have ever encountered, and the audio is terrifying. Pair that with arguably the best graphics to date, and you have a formula for success. None of these features, however, can outshine the final feature that makes this one of my most anticipated games of the year, co-op play. What's better is that the co-op play is online co-op, something that even the vaunted Halo 2 cannot claim. This isn't your standard co-op either; the developers have actually altered the story to account for two players being in the world.
