Dustin Chadwell: I trust Respawn as a company comprised of folks who know their stuff when it comes to multiplayer action. I'm a sucker for giant mechs, too, which definitely helps. It'll be interesting to see how TitanFall will be received since it's not just another Call of Duty clone. Regardless of how it performs, I'm certainly interested in playing it.
Jason Grant: The original designers who rocketed the Call of Duty series to stardom have a new angle: huge, hulking machines. Details on this one are still coming, but I'm keeping an eye on this particular power fantasy for the robotic aspect alone.
Tony "OUberLord" Mitera: The people of Respawn Entertainment have a history of making great multiplayer shooters. The game footage looks incredible, with jetpack-enhanced soldiers performing parkour around the battlefield's structures while three-story-high Titan mechs stomp around outside. It's set to try a few new ideas, but the real proof will be if the game is balanced well enough to support it all without making one aspect weaker in comparison.
Rainier Van Autrijve: When the Infinity Ward founders Jason West and Vince Zampella left the Call of Duty powerhouse to form Respawn Entertainment, there was little doubt that they would continue doing what they do. With TitanFall, it looks like they are going to one-up the FPS series by adding mechas to the mix, and that's enough to jump to the front of the line of my anticipated titles. Battlefield 2140 is one of my favorite titles in that franchise due to its mechs and futuristic weapons, so Titanfall has my name all over it.
