LucasArts officially announced today that it will deploy Mercenaries, an open-ended third person combat-action game this fall for the PlayStation 2 and the Xbox. A few years ago, after the initial Max Payne game release, story broke that Dimension Films and Collision Entertainment were teaming up to make a feature film based on Max Payne. Since it has been as good as quiet on the matter, until today, when the first live screens have appeared online showing off Max Payne, Mona and Russian villain Vladimir.
