"Dynasty Warriors 4: Empires" introduces a new stage and strategy system to the series' frenetic battlefield action. In the new system, players begin the game with a map of Ancient China, divided into 24 different regions. Players start with one region, and then choose another region to invade. Next, officers will recommend a battle strategy, and then combat begins. Victory goes to the first warrior who unifies all 24 regions under a single kingdom.

GMX Signs 'Fair Strike' For the UK

GMX Media today announcing that they will be publishing the helicopter battle simulator, Fair Strike for PC. The game is to be launched across the UK on August 27th 2004.

NCsoft Corporation held a board of directors meeting and passed a resolution to enter the European market through the creation of NCsoft Europe. As a result of this resolution from the board of directors meeting, NCsoft is planning to establish a subsidiary company called NCsoft Europe in London, UK.

Another 'Wolfenstein' Game In The Works?

A nice Sunday surprise has popped up, as apparently id Software's Todd Hollenshead has revealed on Pulse (the G4Tech TV show) that a new Wolfenstein title is in the works by an "outside" studio. Take it with a grain of salt, but apparently people confirmed that they saw the interview, and you can download a sound recording of the aforementioned statement. It's interesting to note that id Software's CEO says that internally, they will be working on an all-new IP title, but it is safe to assume that whoever makes the new Wolfenstein title will most likely be using id's DOOM 3 engine.

Microsoft Game Studios and Bungie Studios today announced a movie-style promotional campaign for the launch of the most anticipated game this year, Halo 2. Beginning today and continuing through August, a Halo 2 theatrical trailer will be shown in more than 1500 Loews Cineplex Entertainment movie screens in the U.S. before many of the hottest films of the summer.
