Capcom today announced Dark Void, a highly innovative action title, is in development with platforms being confirmed shortly. Developed by Airtight Games, Dark Void will deliver a groundbreaking combination of fast-paced vertical combat mixed with mid-air and on-foot action. Dark Void is currently scheduled for release in winter 2008.

Microsoft and BioWare announced the lineup of voice-over actors for its sci-fi action/RPG Mass Effect. Seth Green (Robot Chicken, Family Guy, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) will voice the role of Joker; Keith David (Pitch Black, Crash) will take on the role of Captain David Anderson; Lance Henriksen (Aliens, The Garden) will voice Admiral Steven Hackett; and Marina Sirtis (Star Trek: The Next Generation) will be The Matriarch.

Although there was talk of the title being delayed until Q1 2008, Sega has confirmed that the sequel to the NiGHTS franchise, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, will ship Dec. 18, 2007. Sega also unveiled plans to reawaken the Artificial Life (A-Life) feature, which lets gamers develop their own sandbox environments, and has confirmed that the game will feature a two-player mode and network support at launch.
