As initially reported eons ago, the Dead or Alive video game series is being translated to the big screen. Four screenwriters collaborated on the script, and Hong Kong action-movie director, Cory Yuen ("Romeo Must Die") is at the helm. A few "Maxim" cover girls have been cast, including Jaime Pressly, Devon Aoki, Natassia Malthe and Australian pop star Holly Valance. According to IMDb, "D.O.A.: Dead or Alive" is currently filming and is scheduled for a 2006 release.

Atari today announced that RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Soaked! has shipped to retail outlets nationwide. This is the first expansion pack to RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and gives players the unique experience of creating and controlling their own water parks.

Hollywood's bitterly divided actors union, the Screen Actors Guild, rejected on Tuesday a recently negotiated contract with the video game industry, but the vote was unlikely to have any effect since most games are produced with non-union talent.
