Stalingrad is a real-time strategy based on the modified Blitzkrieg engine. The game tells a story of one of the most dramatic periods of World War II and covers all major events from June 1942 till January 1943. The game consists out of two campaigns. Great Battles of World War II: Stalingrad will be released in Europe in March 2005 in a special edition box containing a 64 page full color manual and an interactive war encyclopedia dedicated to Stalingrad battle.

A few weeks back it was already hinted at during THQ's latest financial results conference that a expansion pack for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War would be coming up, and today GameSpot has a few additional details to back that up. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Winter Assault is scheduled for fall of 2005 and will include an all-new playable fifth race, the Imperial Guard. More details to come with the official announcement, which will probably follow shortly.

The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) has announced nominees for the 5th annual Game Developers Choice Awards, the premier accolades for peer-recognition in the game industry. Recipients will be awarded on March 9, 2005 at a ceremony during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.

Eidos today announced that Project: Snowblind for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox have officially gone gold. Project: Snowblind will be in stores in North America on February 23rd, 2005, for both the Sony PlayStation 2 and Microsoft Xbox.
