Valve Bans 20,000 Pirated 'Half-Life 2' Accounts

Well it seems Valve is giving hackers a piece of their own cake as not only did they, supposebly, leak a fake, non-working HL2 version, but now they have also banned over 20,000 people from Steam for attempting to pirate Half-Life 2 with the CD-Key 5J52E-FVKXV-882FQ-YJXRQ-DOD98. The forum thread also has word that Valve is working on a securROM fix for owners of the CD and DVD editions of the game who are unable to play due to overzealous copy-protection (thanks VE3D).

Vivendi has now released the UK edition of the new patch for 2015's Vietnam based FPS Men of Valor. This update brings your UK version of the game to v1.3 and addresses a bunch of single/multiplayer issues as well as Unicode fixes, rendering optimizations and a few other tweaks. Electronic Arts has released the Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault mod developer's kit giving the mod community to go to town and create their own maps for EA Pacific's WWII based first-person shooter. This package requires you to have .NET framework installed, and includes MilkShape3D, but tutorials, samples and other docs wont be until the final version (thanks 3DGamers). THQ today announced the development of Full Spectrum Warriorae for the PlayStation2. Developed through a collaborative effort between Pandemic Studios and Mass Media, the game's innovative design, complex artificial intelligence (A.I.) and advanced graphical prowess has been successfully transitioned to the PlayStation 2, pushing the hardware to its limits. Full Spectrum Warrior is scheduled to ship worldwide in early 2005.
