Global Star Software today announced that Conflict: Vietnam is currently available in retail stores throughout North America for the PSt2, Xbox and PC. Conflict: Vietnam transports the Conflict series from the deserts of the Middle East to the jungles of Vietnam.

Fireglow team is now developing a next generation game engine (codename: Sudden Strike Next7) and the first game based on this engine , which now is officially named 'Sudden Strike III: Arms For Victory'. Fireglow plans to develop several other games based on this engine in different setups related to war conflicts.

"Stranger" is a real-time strategy game, with elements of role playing games set in a world, split in two parts, surface and a subterranean one, which are in a tenuous balance. 'Stranger' will also feature multiplayer although details beyond "The players may play on their own, or unite in teams" are a bit sktechy. A few months back we revealed Phenomic was working on another addon for Jowood's successful RPG Spellforce. Today the first details are starting to trickle in as 'Spellforce: Shadow of the Phoenix,' scheduled for a November release, will feature two new units and buildings, as well as allowing you to further upgrade your heros to level 50. An all new singleplayer campaign will be added, but also 25 new multiplayer maps, 15 of which are dedicated to coop play (a feature which was added in the previous Breath Of Winter expansion).

Tensions will rise as Fatal Frame 2 on Xbox boasts a new mode that allows the player to move through the lost village in the first person view. What you cannot see will scare you even more than before during this mode as the player experiences limited sight leading to higher insecurities and an increased feeling of vulnerability in the most terrifying Fatal Frame mode to date.

Apex Designs has announced that their GTA style action game, "Payback," has gone gold. Offering top-down mission-based driving in a fully realised 3D world, 'Payback' features criminal mayhem across more than 10 distinct, living cities each with their own unique feel. The European release date has been pushed back to 19 November, but the provisional US date has been set to 25 October.
