GameSpyDaily tossed up some information about GTA3 is Banned in Australia.. Here is a snip from the posting:

The OFLC has refused to grant Grand Theft Auto 3 classification and hence this title can no longer be sold to any consumer under any circumstance. Take 2 Interactive Software has lodged an appeal regarding this decision and the matter has been set down to be heard on Tuesday the 11th of December. No Playstation Ones in the Netherlands

Dutch officials have banned the sale of the Playstation One console and related accessories from the country in November because the cables used in the system contained too much cadmium. The ban effectively blocked the sale of 1.3 million units in the country.

Microsoft busted for software piracy

Here is a spot from the article: The Commercial Court of Nanterre fined Microsoft France 3 million francs (around £290,000) in damage and interest for software piracy. "It's a start," said a lawyer for the plaintiffs, "although Microsoft continues to stall on the provisional execution of the judgment." Read full article here!
