UK's Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) received three complaints from viewers about misleading TV ads regarding Activision's Call of Duty 2 and CoD2: Big Red One and has them taken off the air. The complaints were made due to pre-rendered material, made exclusively for the TV ads, that do not represent the end user quality of the product. While Activision claims such practices are standard procedure, ASA does not agree and regulations do require ad material to be accurate representations of the product.

In a Feb 13 filing with the SEC, Infinium Labs revealed several details about its rather poor financial state. In the filing, Infinium revealed it does not have enough cash and needs to raise $1.6 million in additional funds immediately, or assets may be foreclosed upon by secured lenders, or operations could completely cease.
