Developers of the critically acclaimed TRIBES franchise announced today that they have formed Ozo Interactive, a new development studio located in Eugene, OR. Vivendi Universal Publishing (VU Publishing) today announced a worldwide development agreement with 2015, Inc., the acclaimed creators of Medal of Honor Allied Assault. The agreement grants VU Publishing's Games division exclusive rights to publish, market and distribute 2015's upcoming action title, while 2015 will be responsible for creation of the game. The game will be published by VU Games' Sierra Entertainment studio.

BAM! Entertainment and Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. today announced an extensive marketing campaign backing the North American launch of Riding Spirits for the PlayStation 2. BAM! representatives will discuss details with retailers during this week's Interactive Entertainment Merchants Association (IEMA) summit. The million-dollar campaign will include television, print and online advertising, national in-store retailer promotions and public relations efforts. Riding Spirits for the PlayStation 2 is scheduled to ship in early September.

JoWooD Productions Ltd and in-house developer Massive Development have published the first screenshots of their underwater action game AquaNox: Revelation, which is due for release in Q4 this year. Collapsed rock pillars, naturally formed bridges, giant boulders and half sunken buildings bring AquaNox: Revelation's undersea surroundings to life. The occasional desolate ruin tells of a long-abandoned settlement.

Microsoft Game Studios and Turbine Entertainment Software Corp. today announced that "Asheron's Call 2" fans will have the chance to participate in the making of their next massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) through the "Asheron's Call 2 Name That Monster Contest." Those who enter will be able to submit name proposals for one of the game's boss monsters. In addition to having their name selection edged into the lore of "Asheron's Call 2," the winner will receive a beta account. The crew at Turbine will judge and choose the winning name, which will be announced at a later date.
