Revealed last week, Bethesda announced that it will release The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (GotY) which will include the original version of the award-winning RPG Oblivion along with the official expansion, The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles, and the downloadable content, Knights of the Nine.

Bethesda announced today that its RPG, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, will be a launch title for the PS3 this November in North America, and next March in Europe. In addition, The Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion will be released on the PSP in the Spring 2007 in North America and Europe.

Online retailer GameStop briefly had a product listing for what might be the first signs of an expansion pack to Bethesda's action/RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
Gamespot spotted it, but it was taken down shortly thereafter. Knights of the White Stallion Expansion Pack was listed for $19.99, and has a tentative release date of November 21, 2006. No X360 equivalent was found, so this could be an all new product, and not just a packaging of the previously released modules that have been sold for $.99 or $2.99 since the original product's launch. Earlier this year we reported that a
leaked Bethesda release schedule revealed plans to bring TES IV: Oblivion to PS3 and PSP. Bethesda then responded saying nothing was announced yet, but now that rumor seems to have gained some more credibility by way of a
pre-order/product page over at online retailer Gamestop. While the PSP version is still absent, the PS3 edition is listed with a tentative release date of November 6, 2006.
