The latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu reveals that Q Entertainment is working on a new installment in their Lumines franchise, coming to the PlayStation Network later this year. Lumines Supernova features new skins, stages, and a new Dig Dug mode where you have to clean preset blocks off the screen in order to win.

Lumines creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi has unveiled his newest PSP creation, Every Extend Extra. As with most of his other titles gameplay and music are closely intertwined and are equally important in the game experience. E3 is a mix between shoot'm up and strategy, as you have to provoke chain reactions by avoiding enemy fire. Not too many details were disclosed yet, but Every Extend Extra is expected in Japanese stores January 2006, so more will be revealed in the near future.
