Lyra Studios announced today that they are in the pre-alpha stages of a new MMORPG they have titled Reclamation. This game promises many things that previously were rare or unheard of in the genre. Reclamation is first and foremost a roleplaying game, where you are encouraged and rewarded for playing your character.

Ground Control II: Operation Exodus focuses on tactical combat with minimal time spent on resource management. Instead of harvesting resources and building bases, the game keeps the action hot and heavy by immediately rewarding players for accomplishing objectives. While not officially announced yet, word has it that Microsoft's acclaimed tennis title Top Spin is headed for the PC. Oddly enough the game will not be published by Microsoft but rather by Atari. The conversion is being done by the original Xbox developers Power and Magic Dev. No further details are available at this point.

Electronic Arts today announced the Ultima Online 7th Anniversary Edition, commemorating the game's historic seven-year run. The special version of the longest-running online game is currently in development and scheduled for release this summer.

KumaWar has launched its second mission from the military hotspot of Fallujah, Iraq -- Fallujah Abizaid Attack. Based on the February 12, 2004 assassination attempt on General John P. A Real-Time 3D Strategy, Besieger is set in a medieval fantasy world in which rival players wage war as either Viking or Cimmerian warriors. As well as the bloody battles, each player must build, protect and attack fortified citadels. The easy economic system will allow players to construct or upgrade 40 types of buildings and more than 50 different units for battle. They will also 'create' and train workers for fighting and other survival skills.

True Crime: Streets of L.A. for the PC thrusts players into the role of rogue Elite Operations Division operative Nick Kang, a no-holds-barred badass, whose brutal reputation and lethal skills have landed him the nasty task of taking down the Chinese Triad and Russian Mafia cartel that have turned Los Angeles into a war zone. The PC version takes the driving, fighting and shooting action online with all-new multiplayer features, as well as new weapons and unlockable characters.
