Microsoft E3 2004 LineUp

Microsoft Corp. will continue breaking ground in the computer gaming arena next week, as Games for Windows establishes its presence at E3. The new Games for Windows booth will showcase platform-defining titles for Windows and make Microsoft the first company to host two booths in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center. The booth will feature 20 games from the hottest publishers in the industry, including Electronic Arts, Atari and Sony Online Entertainment.

'Thief: Deadly Shadows' (Xbox/PC) Goes Gold

Eidos today announced that its highly-anticipated, action-stealth game Thief: Deadly Shadows, developed by Ion Storm, has gone gold for the Xbox and the PC. Thief: Deadly Shadows will be available at retail beginning May 26, 2004 in North America.

Legacy Interactive announced today that ER cast members Noah Wyle (Dr. John Carter), Sherry Stringfield (Dr. Susan Lewis) and Mekhi Phifer (Dr. Gregory Pratt) will star in the first interactive game based on the Warner Bros. LucasArts today announced its official 2004 E3 lineup, which features Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, the follow-up title to last year's award-winning RPG. The original KOTOR was released in 2003 and earned widespread acclaim throughout the interactive industry, including more than 35 "Game of the Year" awards. The Sith Lords will be officially unveiled at E3 2004 and will be released for the Xbox and PC in February 2005.
