Namco announced today the company’s stellar line up of video games to be unveiled during the E3 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, May 14-16, 2003. At booth #946 in the South Hall, Namco will be showcasing the following new titles:
- Soul Calibur II
- R: Racing Evolution
- Time Crisis 3
- Tales of Symphonia
- Extreme Force: Grant City Anti-Crime

Vivendi Universal Games announced today that it has entered into a production agreement with Turbine Entertainment to develop "Middle-Earth Online," a massively multiplayer (MMP) game to launch in 2004. The game will be developed as part of VU Games' long-term agreement with Tolkien Enterprises to create interactive entertainment based on J.R.R. Tolkien's epic novel "The Lord of the Rings." Chaser is set in the year 2044 with players taking the role of John Chaser who, at the beginning of the game, wakes up suffering from amnesia on board the spaceship HMS Majestic being pursued by a crack team of heavily armed shocktroop soldiers. The game then takes players into an apocalyptic future set on Earth and Mars. There is a new updated demo available now which adresses several improvements over the last demo. The v1.30 demo fixes clipping issues, sound problems, bugs with weapon selection and the action mode, and more. This new version features the same Training Center tutorial and Little Tokyo mission. Game developer Nevrax and publisher/online operator Wanadoo will launch the first stage of beta test of the highly anticipated MMORPG* Ryzom on May the 19th, 2003. A revamped version of the official website
was recently launched, where gamers can sign up in order to be considered for Beta 1 as well as for the future waves of invitations into the world of Ryzom. Early beta test stages will be in English, with more and more beta testers being progressively accepted as the beta test unfolds.

SEGA Europe Ltd, today announced an agreement with Warhammer Online Ltd, granting SEGA Europe rights to publish 'Warhammer Online' for PC across Europe, North America, Canada and Australia/New Zealand. Midway Games Inc. announced today that Universal Pictures has obtained an option to the rights to develop the classic 1980s Spy Hunter videogame into a major live action motion picture. SpyHunter 2, the latest iteration of the classic videogame, is scheduled to ship fall 2003 for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox and Nintendo GameCube.

Currently in development by Paradox Development, Backyard Wrestling: Don't Try This At Home is an outrageous and over-the-top extreme wrestling game that takes the player beyond the traditional restraints of a wrestling ring where success is based on the ability to use and abuse the environment as well as the opponent. THQ announced the release of Walt Disney Pictures Presentation of Pixar Animation Studios' Finding Nemo videogame for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, Xbox videogame system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance, as well as two games for the PC/Mac. The game, which closely follows the storyline of the film, 'Finding Nemo' by Academy Award-winning Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios, is now available in advance of the movie, scheduled to launch in theaters nationwide on May 30. The game features music and environments inspired by the motion picture.
