Legacy Interactive has signed an agreement to bring Exodus Film Group's upcoming animated toon Igor to NDS, Wii and PC, with voice-overs from Steve Buscemi, John Cleese, Jennifer Coolidge and John Cusack. Igor is an evil scientist's hunch-backed lab assistant who dreams of winning the annual Evil Science Fair.

FASA Founder Acquires 'MechWarrior,' 'Shadowrun' and 'Crimson Skies' Licenses

FASA founder Jordan Weisman has bought back the rights to MechWarrior, Shadowrun, Crimson Skies and the other properties of the FASA catalog after the recent closure of the FASA Interactive studios by Microsoft. Weisman also launched Smith & Tinker which now owns the licenses, and while it is too early to announce future plans, the goal is to surprise and delight old fans, while welcoming new fans to these fantastic worlds.

PlayStation Store Gets 'High Velocity Bowling,' Demos and DLC

Sony has rolled out its weekly PlayStation Store update with tons of new material. Just like on XBL, Harmonix has released the Black Sabbath song pack ($5.49 or $1.99/song) and the announced Folklore add-ons. A multiplayer demo for Sierra's sci-fi FPS Timeshift has been added, while Wild Arms fans can now play the original PSOne title on PS3/PSP. SCEA San Diego's full PSN-exclusive High Velocity Bowling ($9.99) game is now available for download.

That Blizzard has several projects in development is no secret, but they are kept pretty secret. However it seems there is now another mystery title to be added to the list, a "next-gen MMO", according to the latest sightings on the job recruitments page. Blizzard confirmed this is a yet unannounced "new" title, not another World of Warcraft expansion.
