'IL-2 Sturmovik: Forgotten Battles' - Standalone Sequel & Screens

Ubi Soft Entertainment today announced that the next product in the IL-2 Sturmovik flight simulation product line, IL-2 Sturmovik: Forgotten Battles, will no longer be an add-on to the original game, but upgraded to a feature packed full, standalone sequel that will not require gamers to own the original IL-2 Sturmovik product. IL-2 Sturmovik: Forgotten Battles will be released on February 20th 2003.

The multiplayer-focused expansion pack Battlefield 1942:The Road to Rome gives you more maps, more vehicles, more weapons and more fighting forces. The Road to Rome will focus exclusively on the largely underpublicized Italian and Sicilian campaigns of WWII, where you can fight on up to six new maps including Operation Husky (Sicily) and the battles for Anzio and Monte Cassino. 'Lost Kingdoms II' Announced For NGC

The fate of a kingdom at war against an evil conspiracy lies in the hands of a lone heroine ready to battle against an army of darkness in Activision, Inc. Lost Kingdoms II, the sequel to the highly acclaimed real-time action RPG for the Nintendo GameCube. Propelled by a dramatic storyline, players take the role of a new young heroine with the ability to summon powerful creatures using magical Guardian Creature Cards. Like its predecessor, Lost Kingdoms II is being developed by FromSoftware, Inc. The game is expected to be available next spring and has not yet been rated by the ESRB.

Both titles are available for the PC, rated "E" for everyone, and carry a suggested retail price of $19.99. THQ announced the release of The Wild Thornberrys Movie for Nintendo's Game Boy Advance system and PC. They also let us know that they have shipped THE REVENGE OF SHINOBI for Game Boy Advance and WWE SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth for the PS2. Shrapnel Games announced today that Armored Task Force, for PC has begun shipping.

Today Funcom released an action-packed video of Anarchy Online Notum Wars, in-game footage as well as the second article about towers from Game Director Gaute Godager. ATI - VE3D Unreal Tournament 2003 Deathmatch Challenge

ATI Technologies Inc. today announced that the grand-prize winner of the upcoming ATI - VE3D Unreal Tournament 2003 Deathmatch Challenge - sponsored by ATI and - will receive the award-winning RADEON 9700 PRO (valued at US $399) and US $1,000 in cash.

The online tournament, beginning December 12, 2002, will pit contestants against each other in one-on-one elimination games of Unreal Tournament 2003. The sole survivor will win the grand-prize while three runners-up will each receive a RADEON 9700 PRO board, the first in the world to support Microsoft's DirectX 9.0. Over 4,000 players are expected, with thousands of anticipated matches.

'MoH:AA Spearhead' - MP Demo Patch v2.11 & Win32 Server

3DGamers today tossed up a patch for the recent multiplayer demo of Medal of Honor: Allied Assault Spearhead, updating this World War II FPS to version 2.11. This patch addresses a server problem when "getting on a Mortar and then disconnecting from the server." Also available is the updated Win32 dedicated server for the retail expansion, similarly addressing this crash issue. Grab these files here!
