Jowood has released a demo for Metropolis Software's upcoming tactical shooter Gorky Zero. The demo is in German, but since its a shooter non-German people should manage just fine (and be somewhat less confusing than previous Polish demo), features a virtual training level and one full mission (thanks 3DGamers). Yesterday we reported that Sammy's popular 2D fighting game Guilty Gear XX #Reload is headed for the PC, ported by Japan's Media Kite, and today we have the first screens to prove it. Guilty Gear XX #Reload is an updated version of Guilty Gear XX and besides game balance adjustments, it will also feature a new character Robo-Ky, gallery mode, story mode and alternate character versions. 'Chronicles Of Riddick' Coming To The PC

A few days ago we had a story up about the possibility of StarBreeze/Vivendi bringing Riddick to the PC, today there is confirmation that this is not only true, but that StarBreeze/Vivendi are considering "multiple" sequels. Execs at publisher Vivendi Universal Games are so pleased, they already have a PC version timed for release with the DVD around the holidays and are strongly considering sequels.

Wargaming has released a new “Twin Islands” planet (specially designed for massive naval battles: two equal continents are separated by sea) as well as another patch for their strategy game Massive Assault bringing your retail game to v1.2.211. Atari announced today that, in addition to all-new 3-D graphics and the ability to virtually "ride the rides," RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 will allow players to design amazing fireworks displays that can be choreographed to the music of their choice. Using the new Fireworks MixMaster, players can create pyrotechnic masterpieces and synchronize them to music using pre-set in-game songs or their own MP3 files. In addition, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 will also include the ability to assign music to rides in the park, new realistic day and night cycles, a park lighting system and various weather effects.

New Polish Development Studio 'Heaven X' Formed

“Heaven X” ­ developer of interactive entertainment, after succes of developing Indiana Jack for Techland, and Kokomando for L.K. Avalon, announced today, that three new titles are in development for PC platform. Two action-adventure games for younger players, and sci-fi FPS based on Magnum Engine fully developed by Heaven X.
