'Irth Online' Beta Test 3 Signups

Magic Hat Software announced today that the third Beta test for its MMORPG Irth Online will begin on August 13, 2005, and run through September 9, 2005. Gamers are encouraged to apply for Beta 3 on the Irth Online website.

EA's Next 'Def Jam' Game Coming to PS3/X360

GameInformer has the first, albeit minor, details on the next installment in EA's Def Jam fighting franchise. While Def Jam Vendetta and its sequel Fight for NY were a mix between street brawler and wrestling, the new title will be more focussed on the fighting than pulling panties. Previous titles were mostly in confined indoor settings, Def Jam 3 will open it up a little and also take the action outdoors. No doubt there will be another lineup of celebrties and tons of hip-hop music. A projected release date for the next gen title has not yet been revealed.

Koei's Tokyo Game Show 2005 Lineup

KOEI today revealed its lineup of games for next month's Tokyo Game Show in Japan. KOEI is preparing two games for the event: Ni-Oh, a samurai-themed action game for PS3, and Dynasty Warriors 5 Special, an enhanced edition of the Tactical Action game for Xbox 360.
