Weird War – that’s the title of a new cRPG taking place during World War II, which will be released under the Techland label. A dose of original humor combined with various and extensive terrain at player’s disposal makes this title very interesting not only for fans of such games as Arcanum, Fallout or Baltur’s Gate. Creator Of 'Games X Copy' Gets Sued

Three makers of video games (EA, Vivendi & Atari) sued a Missouri company marketing software that enables consumers to make backup copies of computer games. The federal lawsuit, filed Tuesday in New York, alleges that Games X Copy software by 321 Studios Inc. of suburban St. Louis violates copyright laws by illegally cracking copy-protection systems used by game makers.

Mythic Entertainment has released an updated Dark Age of Camelot: New Frontiers Open Beta. The closed beta will be followed with an extended open beta period, warning that this open beta version is unfinished, nor that the add-on is almost finished. Konami today announced that it has shipped McFarlane's Evil Prophecy for the PlayStation 2 to retail outlets nationwide. The action-fighting game brings to life the popular McFarlane's Monsters line of action figures from McFarlane Toys. Players will battle hundreds of monsters, including six boss enemies from the action figure series featuring Dracula, Mummy, Werewolf, Frankenstein, Sea Creature and Voodoo Queen.
