'Breed' is the first project to be developed utilizing the 'Mercury' engine. Breed is an action based game set both in Earth orbit and on its surface. From the orbiting USC Darwin the player launches attacks against the Breed, the aggressive biomechanical race infesting Earth. The long-elusive playable demo for Breed, the upcoming sci-fi first-person shooter by Brat Designs and CDV, is now available after previously appearing on a magazine cover-disk. Konami has released a new patch for Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance which enables support for ATI Radeon videocards, and also takes care of a language selection issue for the European version. Nearing the end of my E3 Screens Gallery list is one of the smaller developer/publishers but big in quality. Sammy Studios is a fairly new addition to the battlefield but with last year's Guilty Gear X2 and Galerians Ash they proved to have what it takes! This year they have 2 equally impressive titles (and a few more not yet announced in house developments coming) such as:
