Chance Thomas, the award-winning composer most widely known for his innovative work in interactive games, has created the music for The ChubbChubbs, which is currently playing at 1500 theaters nationwide in front of this summer’s blockbuster movie, Men In Black 2. Released by Columbia Pictures, The ChubbChubbs is a CG animated short film developed and produced by Sony Pictures’ Imageworks.

Not that this came as a surprise but Blizzard just announced that Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos is now available at retailers worldwide. With initial orders of over 4.5 million copies, the release of Warcraft III represents the biggest worldwide launch in PC-gaming history. "We're really excited that people are now able to pick up a copy of Warcraft III and start playing the complete game," stated Mike Morhaime, Blizzard Entertainment president and co-founder. "We hope players will enjoy what they see, and we look forward to hearing their thoughts about the game."

There are 2 seperate patches, one for the US/UK version (upgrading Patrician II to v1.1) and one for the Dutch version (updating Patrician II to v1.2). Blizzard just informed us that they have already issued the first patch for WarCraft III. This patch upgrades your WarCraft III game to v1.01 and fixes four minor game issues and a few balance changes with the characters. The game is not evne out yet and here we go already. There is a movie trailer for America's Army available for download from Gigex, showing off this first-person action and role-playing game by the U.S. Army.
