Infogrames Ships 'Big Air Freestyle' (NGC) To Stores

Earlier we announced that Infogrames, Inc. shipped Big Air Freestyle, an extreme motocross game for the Nintendo GameCube, to European stores, and we just been informed they have also shipped the game in North America and we can expect it to appear on store shelves this week.

Atari today announced that the trial version of Unreal Tournament 2003, one of the most anticipated PC games of 2002, has already become one of the most popular game demo debuts of all time with nearly 1.2 million downloads between its debut last Friday night, September 13 and Wednesday, September 18. Sierra Entertainment, Inc. today announced that the Tribes Aerial Assault videogame has shipped to retailers nationwide. Created exclusively for the PlayStation2, the Tribes Aerial Assault game is one of the first to use Sony Computer Entertainment America's network adaptor for PlayStation 2 for online play over the Internet, allowing up to 16 players from around the world to compete with, and against, each other in the same game.

Xicat games has already released the first (small) patch for their freshly released first-person shooter, Sniper: Path of Vengeance (developed by Mirage). Ubi Soft Entertainment announced today that it would be bringing the popular game Batman Vengeance to PC enthusiasts this fall. Now PC gamers can become the Dark Knight and follow a twisting, unpredictable plot through stylish environments based on the hit television animated series The New Batman Adventures.
