EA announced today that MVP 06 NCAA Baseball is in development and scheduled for release in spring 2006. This new version of the MVP Baseball franchise is being produced by Electronic Arts Canada in Vancouver, B.C., and will celebrate everything that makes NCAA baseball unique -- aluminum bats, intense action, and stadiums filled with school spirit and packed with passionate fans.

'Indigo Prophecy' (PS2/Xbox/PC) Goes Gold

Atari today announced that Indigo Prophecy, a suspense-filled adventure video game, has gone gold and development is complete.  Known as Fahrenheit in Europe, Indigo Prophecy tells the story of a man whose destiny is irrevocably altered when he unwillingly commits a brutal murder. Through the use of branching storylines and multiple character perspectives, players embark on an immersive adventure on par with a Hollywood thriller. 

Blizzard North Studio Lead Joins Castaway Entertainment

Early August Blizzard revealed it was closing is Blizzard North development studio, and today Castaway Entertainment announced that former Blizzard North studio lead Rick Seis has accepted the position of Technical Director and lead programmer for their current unannounced project.

BFME 2 takes part in the North where a battle is raging between Sauron's forces vs. elves and dwarves. It will be possible to create/customize your own hero, apart from known figures such as Arwin, and become more powerful as you progress in the game. While BFME was all land based, the sequel will also take the action on the sea, naval battles included, courtesy of an updated engine.
