'Resident Evil DS' (NDS) Announced

While there is no official English press release yet, it has been revealed by Japanese magazine Famitsu as Biohazard Deadly Silence, and probably know over here as Resident Evil DS. While no specific release date was provided, a few details did trickle through. Resident Evil DS will be a remake of the first RE title, released in 1996, but unlike the original, the DS version will not use pre-rendered graphics, but be in full 3D. One of the features will require you to wipe the blood covered screen in order to proceed, and the dual screen will most likely be used for inventory and map.

In the game, players enter the world of Narnia, a land frozen in a 100 year winter by the evil powers of the malevolent White Witch. In order to end this frigid captivity and free his people, the mighty lion Aslan invokes an ancient prophecy. It will become the destiny of four siblings from our world: Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie to work together and use their unique combat skills, weaponry and abilities to defeat the Witch and her armies to save Narnia.

'Auto Assault' - 18 New Screens

Auto Assault combines vehicular combat with role-playing elements. Players explore a post-apocalyptic future in customizable cars, motorcycles, semis and even tanks. Players battle other players both in arenas and in epic race vs. race wars for control of the regions in a devastated Earth.

GameTap Subscription Fee Announced

Turner Broadcasting System has set the subscription rate for the fall debut of its GameTap broadband entertainment network at $14.95 per month. The company also announced that all subscribers will get a two-week trial period for unlimited access to the network.

The ultimate version will cost you no less than $699, and includes the X360 Premium, including 4 games (Perrfect Dark Zero: Limited Edition, DoA 4, Kameo and PGR3), as well as headset, second wireless controller (+ charger), and basttery pack. The Core bundle goes for $599 and has the same 4 games, wired controller, mem. card (to save games, since you have no HD in the Core system).
