Umbra Software announced that BioWare has licensed its visibility optimization/occlusion culling technology for the sci-fi space epic Mass Effect franchise, its immiment role-playing game Dragon Age: Origins and other future titles.

EA and Spicy Horse have signed a publishing deal for an all-new title based on EA's 2000 American McGee's Alice.

For the first time, players will be able to wage World War II across the massive expanse of the entire planet. From battles in Europe and North Africa all the way to Asia and the Pacific, WWII Global Conflict features the largest map yet.

The week starts anew, with hopefully plenty of gaming goodness. With the run-up to the holidays, there are plenty of games still scheduled such as Dragon Age, Left 4 Dead 2 and a slew of others.

Not much else happened today. We watched a few more episodes of Flashpoint, which seems to have gotten better in story and production, so that's very promising for the series.
