The Videogamers in Europe 2008 study by Nielsen Games analysts reveales that Europe is now the second-largest territory in the world ahead of the USA, across the continent 81 % of parents play video games with their children, while the average age of gamers is getting higher.

Guns of August is a WWI turn-based strategy game putting you in command of waging war at a grand strategic scale from Paris to Baghdad. The entire Western, Eastern, Italian and Balkan fronts are included as are the three fronts of the Ottoman Empire. This patch fixes over a dozen issues such as the rail movement bug, AI improvements and feature enhancements.

Street Fighter IV features a mix of returning favorites such as Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and Guile along with new characters created for this game, such as Crimson Viper, Abel, El Fuerte, and Rufus. Characters and environments are rendered in stylized 3D, while the game is played in the classic Street Fighter 2D perspective with additional 3D camera flourishes.

Nexon America's free-to-play online first person shooter Combat Arms deploys players into a dangerous war zone teeming with soldiers of fortune looking to make a mark.

Originally scheduled for release in 2004, CDV dropped the game, which resulted in developer UDS shutting down. It was acquired by Swedish Daydream Software and picked up by Playlogic International, but never released. ZOINK and SnapDragon Games have revived the project to bring the redesigned action platformer to the Wii, with added features and a visual overhaul.
