Madden NFL 09 marks the 20th anniversary of the franchises, and the game will feature adaptable gameplay tailored to every type of gamer, online enhancements and a broadcast style presentation delivering an authentic NFL experience.

A study by an Australian consumer agency revealed that videogame consoles and plasma flat-screen TVs are power hungry appliances, even when they are on stand-by. Top of the list is the PlayStation 3, which according to the study would cost almost five times more than it would take to run a refrigerator for the same yearly period.
